I think it's important and definitely goes to show just how much more Eddie is capable of understanding Buck when he tells him he isn't "expendable", everyone else thinks he views himself as "invincible" or "indestructible", but Eddie recognizes that's not how Buck viewed himself. Eddie knew that he didn't need to hear he isn't "invincible" or "indestructible", but that he wasn't "expendable", or essentially that he isn't someone they can just get ride of or would be fine without, he was trying to let him know he has worth and matters because Buck has struggled to believe he does. It was nice to see in the past few episodes of 6B that what he said has somewhat stuck with him.

My god the tears are flowing here. First of, that song is so good but everything else was also perfect. Eddie and Buck have a relationship that nobody else does. They understand each other the way no one else does. I just love them so much. They have and will always have each other back in ways many people wish they had someone that had their backs like that

😭😭😭😭😭🤩🤩Wow… I’m literally crying while smiling at work because this was fantastic! Buck is my favorite character because he’s so real and keeps getting trying to do the right thing, getting tossed into the mud and picking himself up to try doing the right thing again. I love his relationship to the other characters and hope to see him ,Eddie and Chris realize they can be their own unit with or without romance/sex
