I've met this guy! Was out playing the disc golf course in SLO and he skated by. I ran over and we chatted. He's super nice and has multiple boards that he has outfitted in this way. Carve on dude!

I've gone on a group ride with him, down Bob Jones, super chill guy in it for the same reasons everyone else is and yet he's undeniably an inspiration. Proud to share the same city and the same name LOL.

I use a wheelchair just like he has (TiLite Aero Z) and I’m trying to figure out how he’s able to do that! He’d have to remove the ant-tip bars (voiding the warranty)from the back of the chair and feel the tiny deviations of the concrete and hold the wheelie for a very long time. What happens if he stops the hold and tips forward? Faceplant into the sidewalk at 20 MPH 😱 I just…whoa

It was a pink arrow LOL... I can attest that most of the traffic lights in SLO change from green to red really quickly, that one is fairly notorious. If you've got a lot of momentum behind you it's challenging to stop.

I suspect there's no harm intended; he just doesn't want to risk hurting a wheel-chair bound skateboarder (that he'd never seen before; I certainly haven't!), who he may feel could lose his balance; that's how Evan ended up in a wheel chair in the first place; and as soon as he's safely on the sidewalk he heads on past. 😊
