Basically it is not a song you would expect the children of rich parents to use because they would be criticizing themselves.

I don’t exactly have the full story, but essentially, Evan and Angelo apparently were making tiktoks with a kkk member, and when Evan went on an ig live to address it, he didn’t really address it, he sort of just said “I’m not racist I swear” that along with some other stuff, including Evan mentioning Ben, who was also involved in the controversy at some point, and Evan was kicked from yyf mid stream
