Horology is from the greek word ωρολογια (horologia) and the hour in greek is ωρα (hora - with silent h) . Horology is like the science of making clocks (like working with hours and time). It is like a simiral case to biology for instance. I am Greek and I loved when Evan tried to pronounce it 😂

In Swedish "hor" can be put in front of other words to mix together the end word and hor that stands for "hora" which means well wh*re 😂😂 so horology was a real weird thing to hear

As a dane I LOVE hearing english speakers try to say something in danish 😆 'Lærke' (Laerke) is a pretty danish name. And Evan trying to say 'Brevkasse'? priceless! 🤣 The barrel hanging down at 42:13 and you have to smash it open, is also totally a lil wink at the danish tradition of 'slå katten af tønden' (beat the cat off the barrel) that is used at 'fastelavn' (Kinda like halloween, but not creepy at all and it's in spring). Today we put candy in the barrels and kids take turns at hitting it once with a bat, and the person who hit it last before the bottom falls out, wiill be the 'cat king or queen'. In olden days tho they actually put a live cat in the barrel, and then beat the barrel, as a way to drive away evil spirits. ... Because taking a witches cat, stuffing it in a barrel and beating the heck out of it, with the cat inside is surely gonna keep evil away? 🤔😅

I think I'm lost, like Katelyn I also felt that it should have been longer, the mystery is just unraveling now I seem to have missed the part why Laerke was ded or who stole the animals lives at first was it Amelie or Laerke?

So. E&K were wrong, they were both playing as Amelie, nothing was from Laerk's perspective. All the experiments, and missing people and animals were Amelie's attempt at understanding how to steal time. That's why the disappearances stopped while she was in Switzerland. When she came back she perfected the technology for stealing time, however, because she was using the pocket watces her dad made for them, one of them was broken and instead of giving Laerk time it took it away but Amelie couldn't get her back. However, all the time from Amelie's clock games still goes to her that's why she is still alive even tho she is over a 100 years old. I'm guessing Amelie also stole the raven's time because she was jealous that Laerk liked spending time with him more then with her.

Yeah, it must be Norwegian or Danish, as we use ÆØÅ, but Swedes use ÄÖÅ. Lærke is more of a Danish name than Norwegian or Swedish. So makes a lot of sense if the devs are Danish

I often don't watch your playthroughs of the story based games you play because you have similar taste in games to me and I will probably play the game myself at another time. When my husband and I were long distance, the first time we met in person, this was one of the games we played together. Him at my PC and me facing away from him on my bed with my laptop. I don't remember how long it took us, but I remember really enjoying this. We also played We Were Here. I should see if he'd want to play the sequels. Though that one had jump scares and I needed breaks, lol.

I love the look of the game and the story, also the games look like fun, but wow that ending felt so anticlimactic! I feel like it's still kinda unclear what happened to Laerke and if she can ever get out of the clock, to me it seemed like they were building up to the big reveal/ending act but then they cut to "the end" and turned the lights on in the theater. I do get what they were going for, but I feel like it would have been better to tie up the loose ends and then do the 4th wall break in less slap in the face way. The way it ended now left me feeling kinda unsatisfied and like it was just hurriedly ended.

I think I'm experiencing some time hopping myself. I could have sworn I watched you guys play this like a year ago or so. Help, I'm scared! I didn't mind the twist, but I do wish it had a slightly cleaner ending, I guess. Like, there is so much confusion still... I was gonna say so much confusion about the purpose of the story, but I suppose the twist _was_ the point. Personally, I don't think of playing/watching others play a game as wasting or losing 123+ minutes, I prefer to think of it as exchanging them for an experience I enjoyed. Glass half full and all that 🤷. Imagine if the devs were actual vampires, though, surviving off stealing people's time...! This vod already has over 2.7k views, plus the views from the stream. If everyone who was there at the end "donated" the full length of time & if everyone counted as a view has or will watch the whole thing (some won't, ik), then it amounted to 60 days and then add that to the current views rn and it takes it to ~295 days (currently says posted 4 hours ago). Now, that is significant.
