@@EvanCarmichael I've learned criticism is feedback all criticism is good depending on how the person takes it if the person is doing wrong then they're more subject to take the things that as criticism in a bad way if a person is correct or doing right then they'll accept the criticism as feedback and know that it's only to make changes I learned that people are going to get mad at you when you do become successful why this happens I don't understand especially from family but I know I learned that this is okay and that if I stay focused on my purpose I should be able to overcome the hurt that I feel because my family is mad at me

I love her basic advice and strategy. What I detest is she’s a female who keeps others sisters and men to on an illegitimate journey connected to a man made god that our oppressors/enemies have used to subjugate us and continue to do so. When are men and women going to put in the basic work of religious study in terms of what humans have created for ourselves ? If we did that one thing before according any religion aside from love, our whole world would evolve for the better in an amazingly fast way. Our enemies wouldn’t be able to trick, abuse, kill, control or manipulate us any more. I feel this was sent to me by divine inspiration. Recently I found myself "stuck" and could not figure out why I had become basically immobile. Another night sitting on the couch staring into space, wanting and needing something to jumpstart me. KZbin mindlessly playing on the TV and then this started playing in the feed. I watched Iyanla jump in full body, mind and soul to truly show love to people and watched some people call her disgusting names that Black women without European features are often called. When that one child cursed her she set a new boundary that she would no longer interact with people who disrespected her. The following year she announced the end of her show. No matter how old you are, how awakened and loving you are it gets tired being bullied.

It is something when your partner goes with your friend I heard Iyanla Vanzant story. I have never went behind my friends backs and sleep with who they are with. My exhusband brought in his ex who he probably was told I knew mote than hello and began looking back her way so I let it go.

My biggest take away is when Iyanla answered Oprah’s question of why do we keep living negatively and not the opposite and Iyanla said it’s because we can control the negative parts of ourselves and in fact we trust that that is what will show up, but it’s the inability to trust that we can have happiness because we feel that we have no control over the unknown/ positive outlook.
