I was mesmerized from his last news conference in Lebanon. I live in Japan. Honest story his situation is really horrible. He once formulated leadership by learning and accepting cultural boundaries. Making business in Japan somehow easy but we must understand unspoken conditions that we’re just foreigners. Rolling back to his lectures and talks, my my my, I felt more and more motivated. Says “experience is the best teacher”, now I learned a lot of things from your experiences. Foreigners which whom doing business in Japan, most probably will think more harder for our own goods at the end.

Hi Evan, As I told you once, I'm french and I have to admit that I know about nothing about Carlos Ghosn management methods. So it was really interested for me to learn all those things about him. For me, he said something very important about management in Asia, that's the time management to take decisions. He might have learned that from the japanese maybe. I'm manager in China, and that's something important to know when working with Chinese people. You have to give the good information at the good time to make people keep on moving. You can not make things moving without that time management. Maybe as a westerner who have the whole plan of what you want the company to do in your head before doing the first step. But in Asia, you first move, and then correct the direction continuously while moving, so you have the flexibility to integrate new elements into your plan while operating.

Me too. I did not follow what happened with him in past few months but his speech and way of thinking are truly inspirational! I believe Japan was a big set up and I am very happy to see he escaped Japan... Other than that - powerful man has no meaning if this set up could be done (powerful should be - untouchable). In case mr. Carlos is guilty - I believe he took his prize for saving Nissan but Nissan could send a warning within companies. Nissan was harsh and there are other, more human ways to remind somebody to stop. This way, Nissan created circus by revealing everything in public and all 3 companies are now on the edge of extinction... Not wise move for Japan...
