Evanescence - "All That I'm Living For" (Live in Los Angeles 11-17-15)

Evanescence performing All That I'm Living For live from their Winter Tour at the sold out Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA on November 17, 2015. This was shot with a Sony Cyber-shot HX50V. I had dozens upon dozens of phones to shoot around, which made it impossible to get a clean shot for most of the concert. And to the guy that held his gigantic iPhone Plus up above his head for THE ENTIRE CONCERT, blocking pretty much every single shot of mine: Your videos are fucking shit and thank you for ruining my decent-quality videos so you could record some atrocious, shaky, static video with lackluster sound. DON'T FUCKING HOLD YOUR PHONES ABOVE YOUR HEAD. DON'T BE A FUCKING ASSHOLE.

+Hunter Newell What do you mean she shouldn't be performing? so just because she has a kid she shouldn't work? its her profession its what she does with or without Evanescence. In part, its her income to stabilize herself and her family so why wouldn't she perform if that's the line of work she chooses to do? if anything it helps her child, she's bring in an income to support him. But also, after all these years its clear she still loves what she does and her passion is still there for Evanescence which is a beautiful thing that as a fan you should be extremely grateful for. Since Jack was born Amy hasn't been performing as such with Evanescence, but rather caring for her son as any devoted mother would do while also doing music projects on the side in her home studio (scoring music for fims/soundtracks etc). Amy has also said her son is one of her main inspirations for writing music at this time, which is an amazing thing to hear. Knowing motherhood has influenced her writing will be fascinating to hear. If anything we should all be praising, admiring and thanking Amy for balancing motherhood with her career as a musician as its obvious she has no plans to stop. More power to her!

+Saoirse Kavanagh It's just my opinion. If I were her, being in a band and trying to raise a child at the same time would be too much for me to handle. I would rather quit the band forever and take care of my kid instead of being away all the time wasting my time performing and instead focusing on important things like taking care of my child

+Hunter Newell I get its your opinion, and of course you're entitled to it im just stumped by it. I'm sure some musicians (as time has proven) would agree with you, that being in a band while raising a child is too emotionally/physically draining so either they take an hiatus or completely quit. But it's obvious Amy is not that kind of person. She has a deep love for the band (which she's been apart of since she was 15) in part that has obviously driven her to continue on, that and the inspiration her son gives her. She cares and loves the band and its fans too much to completely give it up. So to her, she obviously doesn't see it as "wasting her time performing" its part of who she is. Clearly Amy finds ways to do both. Be a devoted mother while still writing and performing. Like I said, she hasn't been doing much work with Evanescence since Jack was born which is nearly 3 years ago. Evanescence did 3 US shows and 1 in Japan at the end of 2015 so its clear Jack is the priority in her life as he should be. But she is also entitled to work. In case you don't know, Amy brought her son to all of these shows which tells me she won't let her music career ever come an issue between her and her sons relationship. I'm curious, would you say the same thing to a man fronting a band? I doubt it. If that were the case there would be no musicians left in the world to promote their work.
