Neither did Ben Moody. The label forced them to put the male vocals in there or they weren't going to be signed. Love it when the big record labels emotionally blackmail you into doing things. Nowadays getting a huge record deal just isn't worth it when you can do everything yourself with good mics and a computer with good mixing software.
