Ben Moody was a great composer and guitar player; it happened what always happen with lead guitar and lead singers: they fight and the band is either destroyed or one is forcefully leaving it. It must have been hard to him; i mean, after struggling so hard since 1997 or so, to promote Evanescence and being the one with about 50% of the credit for songs, and doing lots of small concerts for little or no payment in the middle, he had to leave during 2003 and did not get to enjoy the experiences and fruit of that work. It must have hit him hard. He barely appeared during the 2004 awards and that was all the credit he got to enjoy.
