She is. I know for a fact that on most Evanescence's Album's Amy does a song for her sister named Bonnie, who passed away in 1987.

Hello (Fallen) and Like you(The open door) both songs are for her sister. You can actually hear her singing "I long to be like you, sis..." in Like you. She never perform those two songs live. So The other side or every other song has nothing to do with Bonnie Lee. The song she wrote about the tsunami is Never go back, not Swimming home 😉
