People, a cover CANT ruin a song it would ruin it if this would somehow become the original song replacing it. They obviously did this cover because they admire The Smashing Pumpkins. I love both bands, hating and fighting in a comment section is for immature children.

For one Amy is one of the most amazing singers out there. if someone's jumping up and down singing of course there voice isn't gonna be perfect no artists is, it just doesn't happen, you get tired and your voice strains more trying to keep up, and to be fairly honest I think Amy does pretty damn well, these arent easy sets to do especially with her kind of music, so again, I would honestly like to see any of you try and then come back and complain, until then, don't judge. As for her take on Zero, I love it, just like her take on Thoughtless and heart shaped box, she's one amazing woman

No band can cover a song and make it sound EXACTLY like the band that made the song. I like it when a band changes the tempo a bit and takes out a few things. That makes it a good cover in my opinion. I like this cover and it's one of my favorite covers by Evanescence.

Just shut up people seriously they're just playing a song from one of their favorite bands there's nothing wrong with that. OBVIOUSLY they're not gonna try super hard to make it better than the original but they just do it for fun. C'mon, i bet a lot of us sang along to Zero or tried to play it on guitar or somthing. You guys: it's a COVER!!!! Definition: a new rendition (performance or recording) of a previously recorded, commercially released song. Evanescence along with MANY other bands have covered from Smashing Pumpkins but it doesn't mean it's supposed to sound like them! The music is faster because they wanted it in a faster tempo. I like this tempo more so than the original but that's my opinion. All in all: It's a cover. You either hate it or you like it. As for me, I like this cover.

El problema dela gente que hace covers de Smashinp Pumpkins, es que esas canciones son perfectas sólo con la voz de Corgan, entonces la gente trata de cantar con ese estilo y se escucha mal. hay que apropiarse de la canción y vivirla, para hacer un cover bueno sin necesidad de imitar la voz original.
