I first watched Evangelion when I was about the same age as the protagonists and it left upon me the indelible notion that "As long as you are alive you can find happiness" that stayed with me, and many years down the line I married a hot foreign redhead, and in that moment I felt that "people who weave love create without knowing and carve a path" fits perfectly.
