Man I remember getting properly PISSED upon finishing Shujinko's story as a teen, really made me connect with him and like him as a character despite all the other awesome characters in the series. He's a lot more relatable than Taven in Armageddon imo, simply for the fact that Shujinko was just a human who was really good at learning and we saw his whole life unfold basically.

As much as I like shujinko and felt bad for him the first time around when I played Unchained he really was a too starry-eyed for his own good, I mean come on dude in a world where dragon people,demons and gods exist you’re gonna believe the first ball of light entity you see? One thing I find funny about meeting Raiden for the first time is the only reason he believes you are the Elder God's champion is because you "Fight with the strength of 10 men" and can "Fight while blindfolded", coincidentally you have mastered at least 10 fighting styles, including the blind folded Kenshi, what luck!

I’ve always wondered if “monster” was the true champion and IF that’s a “version” of scorpion and scorpion is the true champion? Supporting theories. Same exact fighting style (or the dev’s reused scorpions moveset) That was scorpions “knight” costume originally but it didn’t fit him.
