I had been playing with Nate as a part of both Tim Miller and Wayne Krantz's trio at the 55 bar, and Nate subsequently recommended me to Tigran about joining his next album, The Call Within. Hello Evan; Interesting playing. Perhaps you'll get a chance to play Frank Zappa's "200 Motels" someday. I did, here in Paris, France a few years ago. Near the end after letter V, there is a riff of 43 notes spanning 2 measures (188-189). Three groups of undecuplets (10 notes plus 1), then a group of 10 notes - (a decuplet). Your riff seems easy by comparison. Check it out if you can find the music! 😉
