Mainly Kenpo, but researching many others... Kyusho is a study of anatomy, physiology and functionality of the human body and fits any style.

@EvanPantazi Sir, there are a number of commentaries and or better said "distractors" negating the practicality of these techniques. It seems most are saying this wouldn't work in a real life situation and more than likely one would wind up getting beat up. My question to you Sir is, how can we know if these techniques will actually work in a real life situation without actually being attacked by an assailant that is really seeking to do harm? I understand nothing in life is guaranteed but is there a manner in which you can put the "air out of the sails" of those that bash these self defense moves. I would understand if there isn't a definitive answer to this question and honestly I'm not even sure if it's even worth your energies to disprove the nay sayers. There are people that no matter what you show them or explain and even prove they will still call thing "bogus " anyhow Sir sorry to be so long on this it's just frustrating to come across these kinds of comments. It would be great to see some of them eat a bit of crow, lol. Thank You and Godspeed....

Yes sir, anything is possible, however the neurological ramifications are not damaging or permanent, not like those of elbows to the head, or front kicks to the gut,or throws to the ground or even rear naked chokes. Anything from drag racing to Parkour can be... I appreciate your concern though, that is why most of our Kyusho applications are closed door.

If their reaction is real, why would you put them through that for the sake of a slow speed demonstration? You can demonstrate your techniques without causing damage to your students. No respectable master drops their students hard for videos just to show off.

To fully understand and duplicate, you must feel the dysfunction that really applying it brings. I also have been on the receiving end for decades. This may elude you, but the idea of an education or educational film is to actually apply the method and show the affects, otherwise it is just theory. It’s martial arts not dancing.
