The charges against Evans are conspiracy and kidnapping. According to Lagos State Law on kidnapping activities. a. Death sentence for those people involving in kidnapping IF their victims should die in their custody. b. Life imprisonment for those people who involve in kidnapping activities IF their victims do not die in their custody. Since the charges against the notorious kidnapper - Evans - does not bear 'murdered', he may get life imprisonment or leniency sentence of 20 years for pleading guilty at first appearance without delaying government time and effort. However, it is only the judge for now that can decide. God knows the best.
