Today we're trying out Angry Birds Transformers. Tell us what you think of this game.
Angry Birds Transformers is the tenth installment in the Angry Birds series, featuring battles between the so-called "Autobirds and Deceptihogs" (Angry Birds versions of Autobots & Decepticons) in a Side-scrolling Shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Rovio Entertainment with collaboration from Hasbro.[2][3] The game was released on October 15, 2014 for iOS and will be released on October 30, 2014 for Android.[4][5] The release includes licensed merchandise and a toy line from Hasbro. This game is a crossover between Angry Birds and Transformers.
The mysterious EggSpark has arrived on Piggy Island and turned all living things into Transformers and turned non-living things into towers that want to destroy all life. The Autobirds and Deceptihogs must put their differences aside to destroy the towers and capture the mischievous eggs.
The player has to eliminate pigs in the level, but the main goal is to survive through the run. However, some levels or features can be only unlocked when the player has popped enough pigs overall, thus popping pigs is still essential.
Pigs can be popped by shooting at them several times, but is easier to defeat them when shooting supporting materials of their fortresses, or making TNT explode. Since the game is a side-scroller, pigs who have gone out the screen can no longer be popped.
Certain obstacles, like the falling mechanical Easter Island Statues, will need the player to make his or her transformer run through the level quicker, to prevent loss, thus transforming into a vehicle is essential on said cases. The transformation, however, does not last, and the character will transform back into a robot, thus, transforming back into a robot must be done if vehicle mode is no longer needed, so that the next time the player needs to transform into a vehicle, the lasting time will be at maximum.
