Hey adventure seekers ❤ I know that my videos may not be as wild and adventurous these days, but I really need to take it a bit slow right now, ahead of a couple of giant projects this summer. Thank you for understanding and coming along with me on these mini-adventures 🙌

Boring is good. Family is gold. Be happy you actually have a grandpa who wants to spend time wit you and who is alive. You will realize when you are older and wiser that these are the best times in life. Always needing action and excitement isn't always good. Sometimes you need to sit still and be 'bored'. Cherish it. It won't last forever.

Ewa, it was supposed to be exactly like it is now. You were meant to be in Poland, showcasing Poland in your vlogs, showing its beauty, wonderful places, and the time spent with your family. Remember, nothing happens without a reason. Everything happens for a purpose, and the number of subscribers you currently have, almost two million, helps in showcasing and spreading awareness of Poland among foreigners even more, make the most of this time. You are spending it with your grandparents, among your loved ones, and these memories will stay with you forever. That is the most precious thing. Po prostu ciesz się chwilą.

Fishing is an old man's therapy, he reflects on his life and his family. Those of his family that join him are his favorites, not everyone gets invited! A fishing trip is where he is comfortable and feels his mortality and what he has accomplished in his life! Don't forget , he was once your age and the choices he had to make are not the ones you have the same as in his time. Be happy for your opportunities, and understanding of his. He loves you, and you make me proud of the women in my life!! Fritz by the river!

As a "grandma" myself, I can't explain to you how much joy you must give to your grandfather by spending time with him. Also...as a grandma who loves the outdoors and camping, I totally understand that "feeling" you get being in the outdoors away from things. I just went on a dream Alaska cruise and loved it but mostly I just wanted my little tiny camper and being there in that spectacular scenery and the scent of pine in the clean air with my husband, dog, and cat. Nothing soothes some of our souls like the outdoors.

Well, Eva, you inspire me. In a way I am doing like you are doing. As a getting close to 80 widower, I live in a somewhat remote area, not a long ways from where you once spent the night in Idaho. But now, I am waiting for my mechanic to receive the used $500 transmission that will go into my soon to purchase, 2009 Subaru Forester. He has been working on the engine so that I don't get surprised. I have found You-tube sites that show how to make sleeping quarters similar to yours. I tried sleeping in my 1999 Subaru Outback earlier this spring with snow on the ground, but it was cold and not comfortable, but I kept watching your videos and knew I needed to do something different. As soon as my vehicle and sleeping quarters are finished, I will camp in my neck of the woods, staying in only 3 counties, but where I will go, it is unlikely I will see anyone. I've tent-car camped all over the western U.S. so I am not new to camping. No cell service where I will go, so I need to be careful. Yesterday I took a CPR/first aid 4-hour course which will help me remember what I learned ten years ago taking a 6-week EMT/search and rescue course. I now have a 12-volt battery from my older Suby and I just bought a battery box for it. I have an inverter that I tried out once before camping, so I will have a light like at home. I hope to go for 4 days to a week at a time and then come home to a less than modern home, where I can even see one house across a canyon from my kitchen window. I looked on Amazon for a coffee maker I see you carrying out to your vehicle, but I was unable to find one. I have a camp percolator but your method looks much better. Thanks for your videos. I think I've seen them all. You probably inspire a lot of wannabe outbackers but probably not a lot of near 80 ones and someone who, though not into computer technology, will actually put some of your ideas to the test.------an old fogie named Pat

@@margaretlally9747 I've had dogs often but where I live it seems the only dogs available are either Rotweilers of Pit Bulls. My last dog was a Pit Bull. Find when young but eventually I was the only one who could control him. Vilk looks like a nice dog. My only pets are my deer family. On young buck is in the velvet. The turkeys aren't as fun as the deer. Sometimes the deer will chase the turkeys. It is fun to live in the country and I am definitely in the country. Pa!

once heard a neuroscientist state that if a cold persist for an extended period of time, we need to check in with our emotions. our bodies respond, react and display expressions of that which were feeling and may be suppressing. you felt out of sorts being back home in a less complex and varied rural landscape and often we hinder and delay the meeting of our own needs when processing emotions and difficult transitions, like hesitating to go camp or outside when you know you need it. now… you did the far walk with Vilk and had that experience. i encourage you to reflect on the timeframe from this video to now. so much is always evolving and changing, embrace it and nourish yourself by feeling your feelings fully!

Eva, enjoyed your sharing the initial camping experience in your new set up. Thank you. Two thoughts: curtains would be a nice addition, but you might also consider fabric covered foam or cardboard inserts for your back windows (Velcro attached, easily removed and stored flat while traveling ). It would block the light and provide privacy. Re the refrigerator: An ice chest would work fine for two day trips. A 12 V fridge is good for longer. Either can be moved to the front seats to maintain sleeping space. Cheers! Enjoy a carefree summer!

Seems we share the exact same experience as someone from Poland. After seeing Glacier National Park, the Tetons, the Washington and Oregon Coast and spending numerous years in the US I returned to Poland and seemed bored and unimpressed by the landscape, almost disappointed. It took me some trips out into the Polish woods, spending a couple of nights river or lakeside, taking long hikes, to see that although it's not as grandiose as the mountains out West, it forces us to look much more closer at the natural beauty around us. It was here at home I looked closer into the wilderness, started observing it at a microscopic level, finding great joy from observing the different leaves, the changing color of the earth, the various types of birds, running elk, a moose passing 5 meters next to me, the howling of wolves at night under a starlit sky. It was here at home, searching for what could replace the grandiose mountains and glaciers I saw, that I found the true beauty of nature and understood that it's not worse, it's just different but beautiful and divine just the same. It's one of the most valuable lessons I received. Enjoy the great outdoors of Poland Eva!

We had a river on the bottom fields of our farm in Shropshire. Dad owned a camping kit company, so my brothers and I used to test new gear overnight in the fields and river. Great fun as lads.

It's real life that's why I love this. It's about family and home and where you came from and just relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. Exotic trips are nice but I love seeing this peek into your hometown, what it looks like, feeling the nostalgia of being with grandparents again vicariously through you. I loved where you camped. It's beautiful. I loved that cross next to you. It reminds me that we are never truly alone when we have Jesus. God bless you Eva. Praying for you.

Poland is beautiful! And we had a king of both Poland and Sweden. It didn't go well though. But you have missed a beautiful part of Sweden, Eva. "Dellen". It's, or they're, the lakes, and you can drive between them. It's worth it, so beautiful! As we have "allemansrätten" it's ok to just camp there, and wake up looking out over one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you want food there's a lovely vegitarian resturant in Delsbo, or you can give us a shout and me and my wife will make you something nice. Welcome to Hälsingland!

Thank you for showing that you do not have to go to far away places to make great travel stories. Putting your feet in the grass on a new morning with a good cup of coffee while enjoying your own country is also worth living for. Thank you for you true travel story telling and film talent You always put a smile on my face..

Perfection! And you made this yourself, nothing better. Yes, getting outside to camp and explore is really just this simple and easy. Don't sell that little space short just yet. There are lots of people of all ages living out of their vehicles with no more space than what you have there. Great video!!
