The next time you are at a pharmacy, check the area where the magnifying reading glasses are. They should have a string that attaches to the arms on Jude's glasses and it will keep them safe, even on the roller-coasters. Take care!!

That was fun. That’s genius to get food/eating passes too. It makes it easy to set the older kids loose to have fun and they can eat whenever. You are fun parents.

Our amusement park open this week too, Silver Dollar City! We also have season passes but our doesn’t offer meal plans, darn! I went to Carolina Winds about 35 years ago it was fun then too!

I think I’ve ridden every roller coaster at Carowinds except the Fury. I’m too old for that one but my children love it. We recently stayed at the Carowinds RV park but the park was closed at the time. They have a shuttle that takes you back & forth

Looked like so much fun. We had season passes to Sea World San Antonio. We went every weekend in the summer to go to the swim park. We got the meal package too. We totally got our money's worth.

I went on a small roller coaster when I was a teenager and when I got off I wasn’t feeling well and my friends mom said I was as white as a sheet! After that I said even if someone offered me a million dollars I wouldn’t ride a roller coaster! So I am feeling scared for Eve! Jude looks more like Daniel with his glasses. Thanks for taking us along!

Last time I was at Carowinds was 1982 the only roller coaster they had that I would ride was the mine train because I do not like roller coasters.but there were a lot of other rides I liked. I had a Season pass that year. I lived in Mooresville then.

What a fun time! I have not ridden a roller coaster in like 40 yrs ! Me and my 4 kids(all I had then) went on a smaller one,and the rail broke,the wheels went under the track and we stopped like hitting a brick wall ! My son ended up with 31 stitches across his forehead from smacking the front of the car.My 3 daughters and I had bruises across our stomach from the bars locking down so tight on impact.It was many years before any of them wanted anything to do with a coaster.I never rode again.Loved the kids excited faces! When it’s not cold but a bit rainy, that’s actually the best time to go to an amusement park. I had a Disneyland pass like 4 years ago, and going on those days was great cuz it was less crowded. Even on very rainy days it wasn’t too bad either because I would wear my moisture wicking Nike clothes and bought a 1$ poncho from Walmart. And I wore my running shoes so my feet didn’t get wet either. Little tip from me to you. So the best time to go is actually in early February if you want to go all day. But in my opinion the best time to go is the two weeks before halloween cuz it’s not too hot and people don’t want to buy tickets cuz you have to leave the park at like 6pm because they have Mickeys Halloween party which you need separate tickets for. But there are literally no line during the day so it’s worth leaving early. California Adventure is really dead during the day too so you can go on soaring and the incredible roller coaster and not have to wait in line. Seriously. You usually have to wait in line for like an hour during normal days. I go on the cars ride like three times in thirty minutes during these weeks. So worth it. It’s awesome.
