How are you going 3.6? Is that a large AB? I am at 2.6 with the GU, and nano bonuses for speed, but using medium AB

I’m using 3 AUX III thruster rigs, lvl 10 afterburner GU and my dragon chant gives bonuses to speed as well, plus with the gold nanocore one of my secondary bonuses is 9% medium AB speed increase. Top speed straight away is about 3.8m/s, with room to grow if I continue to develop the secondary bonus via analyzing more nanocores.

@@jamescronin9860 on a fresh month it costs me about 1000ip to replace mine. The dragon chant is fully developed down to the bottom level and I have 2 extra bonuses to the secondary effects unlocked. Very pricey but the extra bonuses are amazing.

About how to use siege. You need your target to be sitting still or moving towards you in a straight line for it to apply well, and you also need to be sitting still, unless both are moving to each other in straight lines. If you or your target get the minimal angular movement the application drops dramatically or would just don't apply.

LOL you don't try to get under Vindi guns lol the reasons are their web strength (some cores add up to the ship's natural bonus making one web get up to -99% speed reduction, so be really careful with them; other cores give up to 28km bonus range. Vindis are dicey.), and they also have the stasis resistance these days, and with this one web doesn't slow them down more than what he would slow you. In addition you should assume they run a mwd or ab which will allow him to get to optimal. You could kill them from range with cruiser, slow death but it works. I think that's about vindis. Also in the last part if you had turned off your bubble you probably could have use dcu time to warp off. Probably. Some times we just mess it up😂 Great content! Keep it up!

The siege mode increases your optimal range I believe, so you might need to orbit at 5 or 6km for hits

@ abbadon had that signature dish thing it might have reduced his ship size in radar, making him the size of a bc. But rails are super temperamental when it comes to range. Just gotta find that sweet spot. Would recommend testing your fit with friends/corp mates o7

@@Gromire Your transversal velocity was too high because both you and the abaddon were moving in different directions in addition to siege mode’s tracking debuff. The best thing to do is to match your target ship’s speed while also flying your ship in the same direction as your target.

Nice kills and fights. Watching your videos pumps me up to play. Then i remember I’m an alpha player and my ships miss 90% of the time and i end up playing for a few mins then close game out of frustration. Any tips for an alpha player?

It’s tough as an alpha because you won’t have access to any of the faction ships or expert skills. I’d have to take a look at the ships available to you, but in general I think it’s gonna be all about picking the right targets. Mining ships are good targets as they won’t really be able to fight back and won’t take a huge amount of dps to deal with. Might be able to handle some frigates if you bait them into fights and use a drone ship like a Vexor navy. The game is very limited for alpha pvpers though.

you can't get under vindi guns mate, the falloff is covering it for rails + u get webbed so hard that you can barely move. That works for laser ships but not for rails as much

I’ve been wanting to get a mega striker to roam. Currently my ratting MNI is sitting at 6000 dps cold and a little over 21k dps hot with large rails. Don’t even want to think about fitting snubs; dps will be crazy.

@@timotheegoulet1511 haha yes I’ve seen some screenshots with some crazy numbers, are you just using c-types and non-integrated rigs? With the likelihood of me losing the ship I wouldn’t want to risk high end mods so I’m working with a semi-budget build.

@ 3x T4 Circ rigs. A mix of b types and c types where appropriate. I would never roam with anything better than c types. HPC at lvl35 and both rail GUs at T9. Got a lot invested into my Thermomagnetic Nanocore too. I have most of the relevant Gunnery skills trained into expert, oddly enough I haven’t made or bought the expert gunnery chip that gives straight damage. Wanted to focus on making sure I could hit targets before trying to increase damage. I would use Just rails with a computer. My MNI like to sit at 65km and it’s good to slightly more than 95km before I need to activate the computer.

Even at range you'd be amazed how tracking is effected, seige in my experience​s seem to require absolute stillness, for example I had a hard time testing a rni seige with 3 webs applied was what it took to give the application for the DMG to come through. @@Gromire
