New to Eve and just got 600M from Null using your videos safely back home. Is there any added use for the small secure container besides the expaned 20m3?
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
YES! if you are in danger, or about to hack a "ghost" site, you can launch the "Small Secure Container" into space to keep it safe. If you die, you can fly back and recover your loot inside that container. I don't really use it for that, but it's a possibility. Another think i use that container for, is to keep separate loot, usually i will store all my previous loot in the container, so i can know what i've recently collected. Not a huge benefit. That last thing, but i'm not sure about... If someone cargo scans your ship (while you are jumping in high-sec), they will only see your ships contents with the secure container, but not what's inside that container. Maybe can save you from getting ganked outside of Jita.

Loved this series. I'm a player returning after 15 years, and these videos were proof if I learned the skills shown I could get enough capital as a new player to start over. Made over 5B in my first two weeks. Lost a few cheap ships and an astero while I was AFK. Constant cat and mouse with alliances who are getting annoyed with me cherry picking in their space. It is so satisfying to finish hacking a can as an interceptor or t3d shows on grid and warp away before they can tackle, leaving them scraps. Been pretty slippery the last few days, hopefully they give up eventually haha.

Great to hear, sounds like mostly success and fun. That's the point i'm trying to make with my videos. Any Alpha player can go into NULL and make ISK and/or have FUN! If you have to be AFK, try flying up or down with your Micro-Warp Drive ON. You will be easy to scan with combat probes, but if they warp to you, you'll be far enough away to avoid getting tackled. AND it will take time for them to chase you down. If your ship is faster, they can't catch you, unless they are expert hunters who know how to use probes to jump in front of someone at full speed. ALSO, if you are annoying the LOCALS, just use your next Filament to jump to the next random NULL region.

I went exploring the other day i spent 2 hours at only found 1 data site lvl 4, used 3 filaments to move and it was at latenight... I dont understand how u constantly get sites

Hey Alpha Bob, any info on how often does the sites respawn?
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
In these Electrical storms, the relic sites spawn every 10-15 minutes, up to a total of 5 per system.

very nice series, i see you've been uploading parts for 5 months, but i wanna ask how many real time hours did it take for you to gather all this loot?
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
Excellent question!! I just reviewed all my RAW footage, this is everything i recorded for this challenge, which should be all, since i didn't want to miss anything! The total time for 5 Billion ISK was 23.3 hours of footage. The equals a 215 ISK/hr, which is near my estimate of 200M ISK/hour for hacking in these Electrical Storms.

Lol, collecting stuff is one. But selling it in jita is another. If you not get ganked there with way too much isk in a flimsy ship. Would have loved to see you reach hisec space. But as an example what is possible for even alpha accounts. Cudos. Thanks for the series.
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
Thanks! i do like to show what is possible as an Alpha player, and getting ganked at the entrance to Jita is a real possibility!
@jowens865510 ай бұрын
I got ganked when I when to jita with a navy raven and 400m of stuff so I lost 1b of isk when I jumped on the entry of jita
@curtismullen741810 ай бұрын
@@alphabob_eveonline I know it is possible, but what are the most likely risks? I'm guessing there isn't enough time to lock and cargo scan a heron before it aligns. So without advance intel, isn't it extremely unlikely, say other than a smartbombing BS that was killing indiscriminately? Presumably you've actually already completed this task, because if you had released these videos in real time you would have been an unbelievably big target for the alliance whose space you operated in.

Good series. Congratulations on the 5 billion. Looking forward to seeing how you move it all to Jita. Did you make a rule about not swapping ships for the payoff, or will you get to HS and move it with an Occulator or other ship with more survivability to Jita?
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
it is fully expected that Alpha Joe remains in his Heron for the delivery of the loot to Jita. Transferring to another (stronger) ship is just playing it safe, and Joe doesn't play it safe.
@toddpatton175010 ай бұрын
@alphabob_eveonline solid point. LOL well I am sure the gankers will be looking for Alpha Joe. Due you plan to get some friends or Corp mates to try and run some interference? There are always some tricks like book marked warp ins as well. I will be tooned in for the video!
@alphabob_eveonline10 ай бұрын
@@toddpatton1750 Alpha Joe has already completed his return. I will publish the last video with results very soon. And no corp mates were used, he had to return to Jita on his own, in the same ship, with all that loot available for anyone the scan!
@toddpatton175010 ай бұрын
@alphabob_eveonline glad you made it there without becoming a kill mail. I am looking forward to seeing the final installment of Alphajoe's adventure.
