didn't know about the zoom tip. I reprocess my ore and haul it to good markets in an Incursus. I get to a .2 system and usually get about 26 mil each load mining radiant hemorphite at 2mil a venture load. 👍✌🖖🥃

I did talk in local in WH at one point, was the wrong tab :) did not take long for probes to show up, took that as a queue to leave quietly, i am friendly player but i doubt they would be.

Hopefully your still active. I've just got back into eve. Ive lost a lot of knowledge. Although this video's quite fast depth it was good. I will need to study it fee more times over. All i can do is read and practice in high sec to begin with. Trying to find someone to teach me everything again .

It's funny how much piracy had changed EVE online. Years ago it was considered worthless to mine in a venture, except for some hard to find rare stuff. And before that the Venture wasn't even invented. Years ago when the Venture was put out, it was itended as a rare ore retriever for worm hole space, where a little gets you alot

I remember when the venture was introduced, it certainly saved all the navitas and cruiser mining, and all those jetcans :) Not sure it was meant to be rare, but certainly a game changer.

Hi. Thank you for the video. Very instructive. I was destroyed for the first time today. I was in my venture, same configuration as yours in the video (but no rigs, and I had 2 Hobgoblin drones). The names of the ships that attacked me were "Raznaborg Damavik". Total 4 of them. 2 of them had prefixes: "Blinding" and "Starving". My drones were up, and usually, they kill the rats pretty fast. But in this case, they killed none of the attackers. I went down VERY quickly. When I heard the buzz, I looked and was already at half HP. Can you help me understand what happened and how to avoid this situation? It was in a Highsec 0.7 sector. Thank you. (Liked and subscribed)

Metserel, that is my high sec 'home' xD Those are Triglavians, and yes they are much more aggressive and dangerous than average rats. Avoid them, they have taken down Orcas! I got out now and a gain in a caracal, vexor or drake and thin out the small patrols, esp near the stations but it is hard work!

Yeah, they come out of nowhere and hit you anywhere in the system. Sometimes, they are already closing as you come out of dock. You have about 3 seconds to be aligned to somewhere and warp off. Lost an Imicus full of loot to them.

set up yor overview fo it shows "invading precursors" which sadly don't show by default. After that's done, get working on those dscan skills so you see them coming next time.

Watch out for Triglavians though. They killed me today in a 0.6 system in about 5 seconds. Didn’t realize they hit so hard so didn’t run immediately.

leave the Overview to show ships, stations, star . . . good. you pointed that out set up and use bookmarks to move around -- switch the MWD to an Adaptive Invulnerability Field ( Multispectral something now ) for a bit more defense you need at least Drones 2 (to operate 2 light drones), and at least Light Drone Operation 1 to use Hobgoblins or other light combat drones and for the "bumping around and slowing down" -- don't orbit the rocks. stay outside, inside, above or below the rocks

Thanks for the comment xD. I prefer the mwd simply to reduce time on the site moving between the cans, which is when you are most vulnerable, I also avoid stopping on sites so prefer to orbit the cans, can mess with someone trying to cloak towards you. I don't think a little tank will help if I get caught so evasion is the key for me, which makes the drones very non essential too xD. The result is all that matters though, get out with the loot and you have won! Eve offers so many options and tweaks to achieve that, which is great :)

Mine compliantly? who needs a stinking permit!? no one does. assign the person who anchored the container, his corporation, and alliance Bad standing so you will see them in local .. drones are not _very expensive_ .. Jita average is 6,600 ISK. you can buy at least 6 drones for the price of that MWD .. then you get stuck on the rocks. sit still, outside and/or above the belt with a clear shot to safety -- a station .. carry a couple Hobgoblins and fit an Adaptive Invulnerability or Thermal Amp rather than the MWD and you're set ,, make use of the Survey scanner ,, Gas Harvesting skill book alone is . . 20 million? that's maybe 50 Venture hulls . and bookmarks .. for the good ore, wrecks, delete them when done

Gallante Hi-Sec, especially the Clellion system, does not allow the player to sell ore at all. I arrive at the Center For Advanced Studies and they are so "advanced" that they don't know how to allow a player to sell their ore at all. You are forced to "Reprocess" your 730,000 ISK worth of ore into 485,000 ISK worth of Tritanium and Pyerite. I am tired of this game intentionally screwing Alpha players out of honestly earned ISK. And the Venture is the only ship an Alpha player can mine ore with. This Pay To Win crap gets old quick.

There is no reason you should not have been unable to sell your ore. If there were no players with buy orders at the station you are in you either need to set up a sell order or move the ore to somewhere with a buyer. The Venture is best used in WH or on low sec sites for an Alpha who wants to get good ISK, but there are many ways to make your alpha a billionaire xD

!!!What these videos leave out is: 1. $39,000,000 isk cost as Alpha to access Gas Mining Training. 2. The HIGH probability of getting Ganked by some cloaked asshole upon entering the worm hole = $3,000,000 isk of Venture gone! 3. If you dont get ganked coming in, you probably will leaving = $3,000,000 isk of Venture gone and $10,000,000 isk of gas or more gone!!! So it is not as easy as it looks and be prepared to loose A LOT of ISK!!!

1. I mention the cost of the Gas skill, it is paid for in two trips, or by a few relic site hacks 2. If you only go through WH from high sec, then yes they more more likely to be busy and maybe dangerous, that is why I advise going in through Low sec entrances. But most WQH are not camped. 3. Again, avoid busy entrances. but it is really hard to catch a Venture. 4. Why the fear of maybe losing a ship if you get unlucky, Ventures are so cheap they are disposable, if you do lose a ship now and again, so what, that's the point? It really is this easy...…..and I haven't lost a ship doing it with these alphas yet, not even close.

Mark has shown in this video on how easy it can be. Yes there is a chance of getting ganked, but that’s down to you! As long as you pay attention you have seconds to get away. Been mining gas in a WH for weeks and not lost one ship yet in a Alpha venture. 👍
