Hey there! Experienced Pochven miner here. I would suggest living in Pochven with your home base in a structure with 'reprocessing' service that way you can collect up a lot of compressed ore and either pay someone to haul it to market, sell it, or take it yourself. You might even find some friends and even a corp in the Pochven community if you talk to the locals!

o7, myself and many other hunters prefer to hunt in rocket manticores. if you can i would suggest placing cans at the warp in spot and taking other preventative measures to insure that a cloaked ship doesnt sneak up on you. id hate to have to meet up in game.

You can self destruct faster in station though in the character menu.

To speed up collection, just find a wormhole to enter and exit. No filaments needed.

Asset safety doesn't move things to your home station, it moves things to a close lowsec system relative to where the object was located

Very good guide. To the point. Keep this tutorial style going! However, I don't think this is worth doing. Gas Mining much more profitable. If your new, Pochven is not the dank ally you want to be in at night. Assume every system has eyes that are looking for PVP content, and they live and play The Hunter all the time. They know why your there and what your flying and how to counter it effectively. If you get past that and survive, your not really making a lot of ISK. Then there's all the logistics moving that to market. There are more profitable means for new and old players alike. But if you just want to do it to see if you can do it, go right ahead!

while true, gas mining is more profitable, you need to earn your first 60m for the gas mining skill, and this is quicker than mining veldspar in high sec

Though, a bit more than T0 abyss, but more active and explorer'ish. When we get bored we also board cloacked porp in safe spot and a bunch of prospects to mine ore in Pochven. Hehe)

It is logistics in Pochven vs. logistics in K-Space. New players probably don't want to do hauling in Pochven.

If you're doing it for fun more power to you. But the level of effort and risk 50m/hr is not a good return. Insurgency plexing can get you 200-300m/hr with much less effort and similar risk

This is meant for new players who have very little or no skillpoints. A day 10 player won't fly an Ishtar or do Insurgencies, especially as an Alpha Clone.

@TheRookiePlays we regularly take brand new players out. FW in general is one of the best places for new players. All you need is a kestrel and boom. You're making 200-300m/hr. With far less effort than what you show in this video
