cap boosters for if your caught in null by a sub cap fleet, it allows you to run your shield booster vs heavy damage to fight the sub cap fleet and try and kill them, you would also take additional precortions such as refits and a wetu mobile depo so you can refit if your in a pinch (stuff like graplers, points, additional tank mods, ect ect) smart bomb is also incase frigates are right ontop of you

It was 32% bounty modifier, so consider that 29mil bounty to be ~100mil before adjustment :)

I haven’t played in 10 years but I can tell you as a capital pilot and nullsec pioneer we use cyno jammers to protect our capital fleets which are mainly located in dead end systems in Oasa like KED-20. No one ever ratted back then in carriers as it was seen as a colossal waste. You could use a dominix and micro jump drive to max lock at 149km and kill rats with sentry drones. Sentry drones had unlimited ammo. Back then CCP saw an uptick in botting using this method and nerfed subcap sentry drone accuracy ranges. I think after the fallout from the nerf they introduced ships like the barghest that didn’t have unlimited ammo but could still take advantage of the max lock range.

Ace, I think your market value for that mutaplasmid is skewed due to Test Server prices. Pretty sure that thing is probably worth less than ~50 Mil. Either way, keep up the entertaining content and thank you!

You can tank a carrier enough but it doesnt kill them fast enough and they respawn. Also if you align out at some point the rats will warp to a ping. Then to you. But the issue is that they will keep pinging and you will have a hard time to get dps on them before they do it again. Really annoying. Now if I run it with a Golem on site as well it works quite well. Have the carrier kill the big stuff and the Golem kill the small stuff with Javelin cruise missile (for application). The problem for the carrier is the distance between targets. It takes too long to for the fighters to get to the smaller targets. Finally the worst problem is that if you set your global map to look for interference you can be seen as soon as your module links.

Best is to find a friend with a carrier and engage in jolly co-op in killing drones.

I believe all the cool kids are running these in Rorqual in asteroid belts. You have minimum 2 Rorqual's with DDA's with sentries, use a third character in the capital to start the beacon, warp out once the beacon is online. Rinse and repeat. In the event of a drop the rorquals can target an asteroid and use their panic while help arrives.

I run them in a chimera and thanatos 45m-1h to clear them was thinking of adding your Phoenix fit to replace the chimera... thanatos shield fit can almost solo them... and the chimera has to warp off for shields due to passive shield fit...

I have heard that there is a rogue dread that can spawn that is large in bounty but it's very rare to drop and I've to do it but I'll try on the Test server with carriers/ supers but I'll also take a crack with the Caiman to see how well that performs but I know a levi would manage well but you wouldn't want to be caught in a 100 bil titan doing these.

Would you consider trying this with some friends, to see what you'd need to do to complete it with a small gang set up? Seems like it would be easy enough to do with 2-3 friends in battleships.

A capital ship is required to activate the beacon. You probably could do it with battleships aside from that.

i would guess about 3+ years. I trained cap skills when i could fly and fit all subcap's. 90% of the time dreads are only used to shoot structures and other capitals.

bout 6-8months for a HAW dread from a fresh account most of the skill time is the jump drive skills then youll really want T2 siege and T2 guns, bout another month or two for anti-cap

there are no point at all to these sites as in my Thanatos i can earn 180mil isk per hour running Drone Horde sites and there is no messing about. I tested this yesterday and the NPC's no use newt's, scram and web also. one site takes about an hour and the NPC's will pod you as well in these sites.

... is not you doing crab in test server.. then the profit is nothing cause in tranquility you need to check intel and ready defense for any enemy roam while using crab.
