If you’re ever feeling good, jumping into wh space is a good idea. Scan down any data/relic sites, (“Forgotten” and “Unsecured” sites have rats) run them, hopefully not get ganked, then make your way back and make a ton of money. I typically make around 10 mil per site, and sometimes upwards of 50 mil Also, a partially completely site in wh space is almost guaranteed to be a trap, and should be left immediately.

Funny, I like the ship. I was stupid and took it into a worm hole. I lasted about an hour. Then because I was stupid and scanning right at the worm hole, I got ganked. Not a problem, the ship was only 1mil. I made a friend and am about to join a corp because of it. The player who ganked me explained why and wants to take me under his wing and show me the ropes of worm hole living. He said I should add 2 warp core stabilizers to the fit. It makes sense, every time I loose a ship, the warp core has been disrupted. I still have not finish the video, but will later today.

@remenents1005 жыл бұрын
The information you give was very good, but high sec relic and data sites are really trash. In an hour you earned less than 2 mill ISK. You can earn 5 times that doing L1 missions in an hour. Now, Data and Relic sites in null and especially WH space are VERY profitable. Thats where the money is. Very good information on how to do scanning though for new players. Well done on that.

An expanded launcher can work, since u have so much CPU and it can scan down ships and structures like mobile tractor units, which can be quite profitable depending on what u find in the wreck

Hi! You have so many options. You can bring it all to Jita 4 4 when your cargo hold is full and sell it all there instantly for a reasonable price or you can drop it off in a station near you and then make a courier contract and have it moved to Jita or Amarr whichever is closer and then fly there and sell it or you can just create a item exchange contract with your items you want to sell and then use a tool like evepraisal dot com to get the value of your good and then price it 10% below jita prices and some eve entrepreneur will come and buy it from you and then fly it to jita themselves eventually.

Here is my xml so you can import the ship fittings. I removed the data Analyzer I to free up a middle slot. Save this to a xml file in your Documents\EVE\fittings folder - Cost at Rens VI is about 1.06 mil isk including ship. This setup has drones so you have a little bit of protection while scanning and hacking

I don't know if this was before the feature came out, but if you write a fitting a certain way you can just import it in the game directly from the fitting screen.

I wouldn't use the Echelon at all - it only has 1 mid slot so you could only Data OR relic hack , but not both. Also, it has no slot for a microwarp drive, so you would be slow boating at 404 m/sec between the loot cans which is no fun.

How come no weapon on a ship like this? Just doesn't need it in high sec?
@eveexpertguides9954 жыл бұрын
You should fit ships for one purpose in Eve. No need for weapons because you are not doing combat as the magnate is generally not a combat vessel. Furthermore the magnate only has 1400 hp , you will explode very quickly
@toruko-ishibravo2zulu6794 жыл бұрын
The ship itself is a weapon. Dropped onto your residence. People would come from all around. To ignore your bones. Finding value in all the parts. Praising clicking to go see it.
@dennisshoemaker27894 жыл бұрын
The reason the ship is cheap is that you will lose one or two while making 5-10 million (in high sec). Not a bad trade off for newbies.
@cranky_gamer5 жыл бұрын
Hi, I've just started my eve life and have a couple of questions.... 1. Is there a reason your left the two high slots empty instead of mounting turrets? I would have though turrets for defence or PvE combat sites would be better than leaving them empty, unless there is a benefit to them being empty? 2. You kept ignoring worm holes, but I thought worm holes are where the good stuff can be, or can't you enter those types of worm holes?
@eveexpertguides9955 жыл бұрын
Hi! Welcome to Eve! The magnate is an exploration ship that only has 1300 hp so it's not that great for fighting NPCs. If you encounter hostiles in the magnate you should probably warp away. It is extremely mobile however , which makes it great for exploration and salvaging wrecks. (see my other vids on salvaging) In Eve you want to fit your ship for a purpose and generally stick to it's purpose, unless you are going "Off meta". As for the wormholes, you can enter whatever worm hole you want. But you never know what's on the other side. Yes the rewards can be much greater , much the risk is that much higher.
