OH shit...I really wish I had knew about holding control to route stuff haha. Three characters with 5 planets each and about 20 factories pr. planet...that routing... takes...a LONG time to do. Thank you so much for this information :D

I have done tons of PI and am like the PI person in my corp. Even got into an argument with Yodik once. The control key tip is very neat since routing stuff is annoying to setup . The routing of stuff is on point too! One thing I would upgrade though is the number of basic facilities. Due to the nature of extractor cycles you have a vast surplus of materials in the beginning and ressources tend to fizzle out in the end. since basic facilites consume 6000 of the P0 per hour you can align the total extraction output to that demand and decrease the loss due to that storage facility filling up in the first days (expedited transfer to the launchpad if one can be asked). Eager to see the factory world since many of my corpmates placed storage facilities on these which I find horrendous ;) Additionally: If you can be asked to haul the freighter level volumes of P1 to Jita it is impressively profitable for quite a few of those. The components introduced with the indy changes need P1 like water, oxygen, bacteria and proteins alognside tons of reacted R4 moon goo (the blue stuff)

Questions: i didnt see a move option anywhere, so when a spot "dries out" is the only option to dismantle & rebuild somewhere on the other side of the planet. Or does the area "respawn/regrow" or similar with time & you just have to wait?

@choloHD you can simply destroy the extractor and build a new one near a new hot spot.

Yep as Darkwing said, whenever you’re resetting the extractors you can move the heads around and typically the hot spots will move around to where you’ll still be in range

Yep you sure can! If I read that correctly you mean have an extractor go to the launch pad, then to the industry facility, and back to the launch pad?
