Years ago i switched to Rook, direct after she get the DScan immunity. The third Room is a Coinflip. When u got luck and the distributor is in range it's ok. But when not.... AFter i swichted to Heavy Missiles the Clearspeed in Room 1 and 2 is a little bit slower, but the third room is much easier

I ran a 5/10 serpentis one in high sec this Monday and had a massive 819mil isk loot drop from the final boss a 319 mil afterburner a 200 mil microwarpdrive a 95mil shadow serpentis magstab a 40 mil remote rep and a few other things. Never had such a big payout for a 5/10 ever. Normally between 220 and 600 mil.

Lucky drop :) This is why i love running DED sites. Nice things to find :) Its like treasure hunting in hisec. But i use to avoid lowsec escalations, too pricey ship and implants :)

I lost a 400m Gila doing low sec exploration. My first big loss and it hurt, but taught me a valuable lesson about awareness.

Lol I totally relate, because I lost a ~470m gila aswell this week, while ratting in Null sec, and it was also my first big loss. Worst I had lost before was a 20mil ship with 60mil of loot in it. As you said the most important is to use each loss as a lesson to get better

I also lost one to gankers while running low sec combat sites. Mine was worth 520 mill, plus the packrat and 371 million in faction loot. I have learned my lesson and never went back to lonetrek after. I still make good money from highsec combat sites but the 1b hole in my wallet will never fully heal.

Hi @aceface , Not sure if you'll read this or anyone else, and it's a rather old video but; I'm trying to do this myself in a cerberus, Im tankier in the sense of resistances but I'm not certain on my shield booster. One part of the video you have over 180/s it states and a little later one its 120. Thanks in advance!

I flew with a pirate that had 90KM Disrupter range in a Lachesis combat recon is a perfect match to scram your Rook

can this be done in battlecruisers/battleships? I guess it is possible, but maybe the dps in pocket 3 is overwhelming if you are so slow as a battlecruiser/battleship?

yup battleships can be used. I just think its a bit safer in a rook since a bs will be easier to hunt from other players

Can you check remotely if you can dock in a station ?

yes, if you do show info on a station and it has a "services" tab, you can dock.

If your going to do much more low sec pve then fix your overview settings. On your combat tab the only things you should see are other players, rats, and maybe your warp out locations. All that clutter you have makes it easier for someone to sneak up on you. Ideally you would have it set up such that you never need to scroll up or down. Something else to be aware of. A patient guy with combat probes will only need about 15 seconds with the probes in space to scan you down. First find your location with d-scan and then plop the probes down right on top of you with minimum scan range…..

A good trick i have learned is to get a good range ship (gila with link aug. for 80km range) and microwarp from one side of the arena to the other. If they warp on you, you'll hopefully be moving fast enough to pull out in time. It makes you take more damage from the rats but it's worth it to not get ganked, i have successfully escaped in a Gila once using this technique, i also do it when gas huffing in WH space with the prospect.

sometimes clicking things once doesnt register, especially if the node suddenly receives lots of actions so spamnming ensures at least one call request goes thorugh

Sometimes it doesn't compute, so the spam click is to avoid potential server lag.
