EVE Online - T5 firestorm Buffer fit with cheap filaments

I ran a few rounds on sisi in this fit (I did substitute faction missile launchers). It did well. I had a few trig waves (kikis, vedmaks, and leshaqs) and it did fine, always finishing with at least 4 minutes to spare.

The eve wiki says that t4-t6 resitance penalty is -50% or -70% randomly. Is it worth using up modules just to have your 69% thermal resistance at most 19% in reality? Or am i misunderstanding the way the deduction is calculated?

I do wonder about time if you get 2 Karen rooms or 2 heavy time sink rooms with those slower(but more dps) drones but otherwise it looked good. Obviously you can use an MTU to grab extra cans though it means maybe having 2 valk drones to speed over to the cans instead of burning to or using a heavy launcher and dropping your dps slightly. I've yet to get ganked but definitely like the buffer fits for trying to ensure survival. I definitely like this cheaper option over the gamma/exotic fit and it's good to see it in action.

Question...I haven't been getting the Skillers in the Abyss for over a month, is there a way to force your daily to be abyss sprees? My general play is in the abyss

skilling sprees are only for npc killing. the only reason it was abyssal killing is for the mosaic

@@WizardBrandon Not sure what Mosaic means sorry...but abyssal enemies are npcs too so not sure I understand. When I returned to the game I used to get these Abyss skillers all the time for about 2-3 weeks, then since it's only ever the kill 1, 5, 10 npcs

​@@Aceyface If you have to do another T0-T6 series but using only ships that do not rely on drones whatsoever... what would be your path? You would be actually be helping a brother that uninstalled the game and spend its play time staring at fit in PYFA... I'm not kidding, sub cancelled, game uninstalled... all day long PYFA. I was aware this game was about RISK vs REWARD but my god... seem like I have to risk 100M to generate 10m/hr (if I want combat related stuff). Sorry for the long reply
