Compared to Bayonetta, Stellar Blade, NieR Automata, Final Fantasy, and Tomb Raider, I haven't seen many counterpoints defending the female character designs of Pyra, Mythra, Brighid, etc. Most defenses of the game boils down to "Xenoblade 2 is good despite the fanservice" instead of "Xenoblade 2 is good, and there's nothing wrong with the fanservice."
