Sorry to disagree, but the examples at the start are only partly because of morale ... the second one was the example of "correct tactics" ... the "small and mobile force ON THE OFFENSIVE" is better than "large and slow force that is REACTING". Its the asymmetrical advantage of the freedom fighter/terrorist.
