Thanks for another great vid man! Agree about the comet just needing a slight nerf, but nothing too drastic. Personally I'd drop the drone bandwidth from 15 to 10, and the bay from 30 to 20. Three drones and three spares plus the dps from hybrids is really hard to counter. And even when using a tracking disruptor you still have to chew thru six light drones to get the damage off you before you start killing the ship itself. I'd also drop the base speed by 10m/s, this would still leave it with the third highest base speed of the navy frigs. Finally I'd drop the base structure HP from 750 to 650. It would still have the highest structure HP of any navy frig, and would still have a decent tank.

Yeah it does. You can squeeze a nos on the Comet if you have genos, or drop to IFFA I believe

VERY next sentence, these are the implants I'm running, two of these....."; I get it, this isn't much to a pvp kinda guy who's got years in the game, but I have no/ zero implants currently in my head is totally different to I'm only running 2 cheap implants, or this fit works even without being implant dependant etc would be a little more accurate. Maybe it's cos I've just woken up, but this deception attempt annoyed me.

I haven't played in awhile, but doesn't heat "wrap around" racks pacman style? I remember being told this in the past.

No it doesn't wrap. It will affect the mods closes to it first and the trickle down the line. But heat will not go from your left most module to the right most (low slot example).

Mastery lvl V Comet? Looks like I have a long way to go, currently Mastery lvl II. :O

The Mastery system isn't the best. It recommends and requires lots of incredibly minor or useless (in the context of most fittings) skills for the ship. Such as Armor Compensation skills which don't have any effect on the fitting I'm using.

@@eveiseasy totally understand that, take for example my Drake BC with *mastery lvl III* that uses assault missiles. Most of the "minor/useless" missile skills (like *bombardment* or *projection* for example) are at Skill lvl 4 or so with a few at skill lvl 5 just in case.

Under what circumstances should you use Javelin or Spike?

Javelin only if you're getting brawled down by something faster (Dramiel) Spike if something is kiting you outside iridium range.

If these Faction Warfare PVP-ers are typically hardcore maxed-out frigate skilled vets that bring 30 mil+ T2 pimped-out frigates to the table, then how is this supposed to be suited to newer players, let alone alpha players?

It's not really unfortunately. One of the reasons why CCP is creating resource wars for new players instead of directing them to FW.

I assume things have changed a lot from this post which is unfortunate- Some players are maxed out but for the most part they are Chinese farmers in 2 mil cats/4mil atrons or they are new player trying to get to grips with pvp themselves, most are between 100 and 350 days & want to try life outside of high without fear of bubbles. Think the vets got fed up with bots and left before the bots got (kinda')sorted. Hopefully fw gets a look at soon and mixes things up a bit (We can dream); thus allowing old guys to come back to the warzone and get in on Amarrs current conversion rates- today they are sitting at about 3.5K isk per 1 lp so is still a reason to get in on the cat-tion even if the fights aren't as enjoyable as they seemed to have been back when this post was made.
