A cute idea for the "beachy" nautical decor idea is to collect beach sands in small bottles from all the different beaches you see and it'll look really cool lined up together with all the different shades and is a subtle way to show where you've been :D

Since you are in l.a., check out Home Goods, they have a ton of discounted home decor. Their selection changes daily, so check back often. Also, if you have a Kirkland store in your area, they have some nice decor too, including Paris themed items. Nice job on your closet!

Ikea isn't the BEST quality because most of their furniture is made out of particle board, but you have to keep in mind that the price is also low because you do have to put everything together yourself. I'm pretty pleased so far, especially when you get accessories and shelves:)

for the bathtub for my bathroom I use those shelves it goes on the corner on the tub it can hold all you shampoos, scrubs,conditioners and ect.

Really nice accent pieces. I've heard that if you have an elephant statue you should have it facing as if it were walking in to your home. If that makes sense. Loved it!

I have to have mint every thing too when I ask my friends what kind of gum they like most a lot of them say fruit and I hate hate hate fruit flavored gum because gum is supposed to freshen your breath! But oh well I am weird like that!

Hi Evalina, cute house stuff! :) I just wanted to inform you that the plug ins from BBW can make animals sick and even cause death:( it gives off toxic fumes when its plugged in. my kitty got really sick and we couldn't figure out why... untill I mentioned it to a store assosiate at BBW. google it and do some research and be careful where you plug it in, keep it out of your kittys reach.

usually you should choose elephants with their trunk up, that are the elephants with some meaning, the others are just for decorating...another thing if you choose spiritual decorations and you don't pay attention to their shape or position they can bring to your home/life the opposite thing (if that makes sense)...

I have that sheep skin thing too.. don't get it dirty because when you wash it, it doesn't get back to normal and looks so bad :S the hair gets curly and stuff.. :/
