can we all just imagine that Remus did not leave, and he got hate letters from the parents? the students started to notice his resigned face every time this happened like somehow he deserved it. the students started putting up posters to support Remus, the best teacher ever. some people started sending him howlers with encouragement, it got to the point where if you ever need ed to find lupin, you could just listen for the inevitable sound of a howler screaming compliments.

That was edited in the movies bro. Actually Snape wanted to end Sirius' as well as Remus' life by handing over to the dementors to perform their final kiss. Had not Harry Ron and Hermione attacked Snape simultaneously he would have done it without consulting with Dumbledore. Then again since Sirius escaped , he told the whole castle about the lycanthropic condition of Lupin who was arguably the best DADA teacher at Hogwarts. He may have loved and protected Harry in his own twisted form. But he certainly was not a very GOOD MAN like James or Remus or Sirius was.

In my mind he isn't dead, neither is Tonks, and I'm making up a story in which there is a way to cure him and awaken the dead. Since he was cured Peter didn't escape, Sirius was freed, Buckbeak was saved.... James and Lily were brought back after Voldy went moldy haha thank you Peeves and Sirius, Remus and Tonks (Fred too :) ) and in 2000 Teddy got a sister who they named Hope after Remus' mother, gosh I love my imagination....
