German ZDF TV interview of American sprinter Evelyn Ashford, after her defeat to great rival Marlies Göhr in Los Angeles, where 1984 Olympics will be hosted.
The race was held into huge headwind, Ashford pressed world record holder Göhr (10.81) but almost lost her balance with 25m to go.

A few days later, Ashford would take the world record with 10.79 in high altitude.
All 4 athletes would meet again in the inaugural World Championships in Helsinki. Koch had the best start but was quickly edged by Göhr while Ashford was struck down by an hamstring injury after 40m.
