1:03 usually I don’t point out those “small detail theories,” but in my head, it seemed like Tommy was covering his face, as if he didn’t want anyone to see him crying, like he thought it made him weak. Tubbo covered his ears, which kind of seemed like he was trying to block out noise, or he was protecting his head. Tubbo seemed more distressed and irritated, while Tommy wanted to hide important parts of himself. I know I’m late and all that, but it’s still fun to think about it! :)

i left the dsmp fandom 5-6 months ago. just revisiting this for memories… i’ll never regret the time i spent in the fandom. it was so, so much fun- but i eventually grew out of it because i couldn’t keep up with the storyline and all the new people. dsmp will always have a special place in my heart. i remember being so pumped when this was posted. i replayed it over 3 times. every now and then i’ll get another sad-ist animation in my recommended, and i’m just so astounded by how much she’s improved. i find this whole channel really inspiring, and i hope it just keeps on growing. i’ll never unsubscribe if i can help it :)

I just gotta say something that I noticed, the way that Sad-ist draws their eyes is so interesting. Tubbos eyes are a lot brighter and round, which usually is used for more empathetic and kind characters, but they also do a better job expressing a wide array of emotions. Tommy has smaller pupils and a more sharp eye shape, which plays off of his aggressive behavior and high energy. Just gotta give credit where it’s due because this is pure genius
