Elizabeth pushed Charlie outside. Participating in her death as one of the kids, in jealous. After garret died, Elizabeth just wasn’t the same so she didn’t treat Charlie the same. Even after that, Charlie still wants to “save” Elizabeth, who just can’t understand why Charlie’s trying so hard to save someone one who treated her rudely, and in a way helped with her death. Elizabeth mainly blames herself for the death of Charlotte. She’s a child, after all. Even if she hates William, and knows it’s his fault. :) In short..Elizabeth has zero clue why Charlotte still wants to save her, be friends with her. She doesn’t understand. At all.
