Evelyn's Garden

This Virtual Open Garden Tour was recorded on May 15, 2024. Rhododendrons, viburnum, deutzia, wisteria, early clematis, alliums, bergenia, tulips, and tree peonies were all blooming at this time. Evelyn's garden continues to enthrall throughout the summer with lilies, iris, climbing roses, delphiniums, agapanthus, phlox, trumpet vine, more clematis and numerous annuals and perennials. To anchor these beautiful blooms, Japanese maples, heuchera, ferns and hostas are sprinkled throughout. Many thanks to Evelyn for sharing her gorgeous garden with us.

The bright orange flowering shrub at the front of the house is Azalea Exbury 'Arneson Gem' and the white shrub blooming on the street side of the carport is Choisya ternata 'Sundance' (Mexican Orange). The white blooming shrubs near the circle of lawn includes Deutzia gracilis 'Nikko' (left) and Viburnum 'Davidii' (right). Thank you for taking an interest in my garden. Evelyn

My Zone 7A garden does enjoy a temperate climate with wet winters/spring and dry summers. I also have a drip irrigation system installed (above ground) in most of the 12 garden beds.

There were two shrubs of interest., one with large orange flowers and the uther with large white blooms. What are they? Your garden is beautiful!!!😊
