Blackface is when you darken your skin tone to an unnatural degree in order to portray a black person in a silly and exaggerated way, mocking the way they look. What this girl did was not that, she kept all of her natural features and only darkened her skin to resemble a black person in a celebratory and respectful way. She loves all of the looks she created as equal and what she did was represent every ethnicity with the utter most respect.

That's probably because they got deleted love. I recall seeing several videos where black people were irate over white people doing white to black makeup transformation. It exists. I'm sorry about it to be honest. All women are beautiful and all skin tones should be readily celebrated IMO, I feel like we should just be love you know?

Karla Reinoso i thought it was Middle Eastern and South asian but now I see Latina too, maybe she didn’t try to be specific because a lot of nationalities have people who fall into this category of her look.
I’m black, how you doing: Her look was good. Lol i laughed how she puckered her lips like that. 😂 That gray base undertone was like ghostly though. 😂 i just find it so crazy how no matter how hard someone tries to recreate that melanin color, it just doesn’t pop like the real thing. But i digress, this is art. 💕

Westerners here thinking she should know what's offensive in USA. NOPE. She is from Asia, she has no obligation on knowing what's wrong over there, just as much as you may not now what's offensive in Asia. And she didn't offend anyone, she did it respectfully showing how every woman is beautiful. Y'all be more open-minded not everyone in the world is racist or does something to offend. Must of us aren't raised with a racist mind.

just a heads up (and im saying this because i feel like a lot of the people freaking out aren’t even afro (another term for afro-descent) themselves and they’re going crazy about the african based look) *blackface* is when you’re making/mocking afro-centric culture with malicious intent. this makeup artist is not only doing it in a non-malicious way, but she’s also showing off other ethnicities and stating how beautiful they all are as a symbol of acceptance no matter who they are. it’s not a way of “i don’t see race” but instead it’s “i see and value the features of other ethnicities and i appreciate them” and that’s powerful. *blackfishing* is saying she wants to become those ethnicities for LIFE. this is a temporary display of her talents. PLEASE. EDUCATE. YOURSELVES.

@juritanaka82845 жыл бұрын
faeriebilitie 5 is Korean because in Korean makeup gradient lips, shimmering eyeshadow and eyeliner are popular. And 3 is Japanese because of super natural looking makeup, and she is using a mask 😷 and doing kawaii poses. Other reason is that Japanese fashion is not the same of 2005 with AKB48 short pleated skirts. And average Japanese girls don’t dresses like a Harajuku gyaru or something. Nowadays Japanese fashion is more comfy and girls use to wear pants or midi skirts. But at Korea the mini skirts are in style as you see with kPop idols. Remembering that 48 bands aren’t popular nowadays like before, but the 46.
