How many imbue dice does this build actually get? You never actually say.

Mine is 25 currently, and I've been noodling on getting it to 30 (including the snowpeaks filigree + walking ancestor set)

Nice build. Very similar to what I'm running at the moment, mine is a budget version without the fire damage, I just use a bunch of insta kills and GCS from Feydark along with a 2hw rather than 2wf.

Do you feel the ability to add a runearm with the new ED warrants a look at a SWF version? New source of spellpower and ranged (or melee distance) DPS?

My build is based on the dual Kama set from hunt or be hunted, but if you didn't want that then you could SWF with the new rune arm for very high damage as well since it has dripping with magma which is insane.

You don't need the past lives, but you do need the gear.

interesting. haven't really crunched imbues in my head. I have a character with offhand versatility which now only gives an imbue and it feels like a nerf to that feat.

Interesting build. Just curious, does the epic spell power fire feat scale the power of your imbues including the crit damage? Wonder if flame blade will work just as well. Maybe a sacred fist split to counter the cloth issue to treat as heavy armor would be nice.

Imbues cannot crit, and melee attacks are not spells so they are unaffected by spell critical damage.

@@Strimtom Still sad that imbues cannot crit. I know they have done a lot of work to try and make crits less of an impact at endgame, but not having crits is just ☹

@@Skenjin If it makes you feel better, two of the highest DPS builds in the game are non-crit (EK imbue stacker and shuriken imbue stacker) And before you ask, no I don't have a build for those, I stay away from uber min-max endgame builds mostly.

@strimtom *repost for visibility* what do you think about allowing PVP in hardcore so that you can fight in arena/tavern and still rez but only die in dungeoon? I think its a worth it feature, nothing too crazy just to let friends mess around in for fun :)

No one does PVP even in the live servers, why would they do all the hard coding to make an exception to the 'if you die you die' rule just for like 2 people to use on HC?

​@@footsiez I feel like so few people use PvP that it almost wouldn't be worth it to program that in since introducing scenarios where you're allowed to die on Hardcore could easily allow bugs to slip in. Plus without PvP permadeath I couldn't have done my prank where I named a character Epstein and another Himself and had them fight so the message "Epstein was slain by Himself" appeared. I followed it up by yelling "DON'T LISTEN, HE'S LYING" in whatever chats I could still access.
