All he has to do is to tell the people inside the hotel to move to the next hotel room to their right, meaning that the people on room nr 1 moves to room nr 2 and 2 moves to nr 3 and the people living in 3 moves to 4 etc. Since there is no room number 0 he will know that room nr 1 is empty.

As they can communicate with each other using those words my solution for the last riddle is the following. Let the 2nd person from the left touch the first one and say his hat's name/colour. This goes all the way to the last person, who is then able to conclude which colour or name his hat has. All of them can now say the solution. I came to this way of solving it because I thought that the students could only see one person in front of them I guess I'm too stupid to listen properly 😂

Second Riddle's reason is kinda bs..... Reason: So we of course know that it was rigged along with the dude taking the test....however the king does not know he knew that the game was rigged. Him burning the paper would only seal his fate as there goes the one evidence that he could have used against the king for his unfairness. So by doing so, he would still technically die. No one else knew the game was rigged, there fore the king could easily say since the other card was burnt that the card that was burnt was the crown, and just show the other card as the skull that it actually is....the man would still die.
