Turtle Granddad here is actually fun to start with, you split chelons into 1stacks and they can tank through quite a few early fights allowing you to not take causalties at all, while giving you a nice chunk of essence at the same time.

Yup. It seems to be one of the stronger starts you can have. Having a strong frontline and some ranged troops makes for a strong core to build off.

I just got smoked in the Rana Campaign part 2 map (the plague rat army 40 turns in destoyred me). Game definitely prioritizes speed and maximizing every turn (no sitting around) which your videos help show.

Oh that sounds rough. Yeah, a lot of the strategy comes down to how much you can do each turn and how much you can avoid losing. I hope you get some ideas from the videos :)

lol you must be brand new to the heroes franchise. Every heroes style game is all about maximizing efficiency of moves and doing as much as possible as soon as possible. It’s literally the entire game
