Gen 3's prototype is so close to the finalized game that it's wild, it's fascinating to speculate what could've been had we gotten this as gen 3 games instead. It's as huge a leak as what we saw with Spaceworld Gold version way back in 2018.

When I heard of the starters for Legends Arceus, I thought why Typhlosion? Samurott and Decidueye I understood as they are warriors, but why Typhlosion? The leaks on Diamond and Pearl’s early Sinnoh lore explained why we got Hisuian Typhlosion, Ursaluna, Wyrdeer, the shiny Ponyta quest, and Mantyke’s evolution method.

I love goomy, but if they took that knight snail beta design direction it would have made goodra stand out more against all the other pseudo dragons. Especially given it's inspiration being Knights fighting snails.
