The Winx Club fairy dolls are another discontinued doll line that made me really sad when production was stopped. Mattel had them then stopped, then Jakks Pacific, but they discontinued Winx Club dolls too. I totally prefer the Mattel Winx dolls, though! Very accurate to the show, and very intricate details. My favorite was the Enchantix dolls.

The mystixx are actually really cool! There are the play lines and the more high-end ones that are articulated. the really cool thing about them is that they actually have two heads and when you twist them around one side other be a vampire or a zombie and the other side will be a human.

I thought the Mystixx vampire dolls were really interesting despite their similarity to MH. They had two faces on the doll where you can move their head around to show their more "Human side." Instead of a mask or a separate head. I think most of the Mystixx series was like that. They had a zombie line, a Grimm line. One line themed to animals and a Rococo line which is basically an addition to the zombie line. I think the animals was an addition to the Grimm line. Each doll in the Mystixx Vampires line had two outfits included along with shoes for them and one cheap brush. According to some, the clothes were okay. Nothing horrible. You couldn't pose them much though. Though later on down the line, the Rococo dolls had articulation but were only out for a limited time. They had a web series and a live action music video. The web series to me was okay. Not a whole lot of animation probably due to a low budget. The music video was TERRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. If I remember right, the toys were created by a company called Playhut, Inc. What they create is mainly what their name is. Play huts for little younger kids. Characters include Siva, a princess. Talin, a jokester if I remember correctly. Kalani, a bookworm and Azra, a hopeless romantic. Of course I could be wrong as the dolls were only out for so long. (I think we can all see why.) If they had more patience when it came to the dolls and a little more time spent on the idea, they could have been better.

The Hearts 4 Hearts dolls are not discontinued, they are being re-released 2 at a time. They preceded Wellie Wishers from American Girl and many people (myself included) like them much better than WWs. Playmates, the maker of H4H, donates a portion of the sales price to an international charity for girls. Each of the dolls represents a girl from a particular area and comes with a back story about the girl's efforts to overcome adversity or help their family. They have several Facebook pages.

I LOVED Golden Girls!! They had the best shields, they were metal and heavy,. They went with my She-Ra dolls so well, especially because there were only so many She-Ra dolls

One doll line I hold dear that I wish they would come out with again is the 1960's-70's Crissy family line. They were larger fashion dolls that had hair that grows. I love a good hair gimmick :)

A couple lines that were discontinued that I'm disappointed about are the Jakks Pacific Winx Club dolls and the Once Upon A Zombie dolls. OUAZ had some super cool dolls planned, but I don't think they ever came out. I think they had a Peter Pan one planned, a Tinkerbell one, and a few more, but I can't remember which ones. Of the released dolls, I believe they only had Belle, Rapunzel, Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, Alice, and Snow White.

Awh I thought the Hearts for Hearts Girls were really cute! I picked one up at a thrift store recently... but I will say that their eyes are BIG and they just kinda STARE and are a bit unsettling. I found a BFC too, but she has no upper arm articulation, but has full leg articulation, which I found odd.

I had several Lil Miss dolls (still have Lil Miss Magic Hair), a few Cherry Merry Muffin dolls and mini ones that were fully plastic and came with little dessert shaped houses. They were also scented. I also had the Shani doll in the purple dress. I loved her. So many great memories.❤

I love that you included Action man! When I was a child most of my friends were boys and had those. They were in the same scale as my Barbie dolls so we often played with them together. I think I might have owned one as well! Great video!!

Love the Cutie Pops, Cherry Merry Muffin dolls (though they were around before I was born which was the very early 90's), Beatrix and the Secret Central. I regret the fact I never bought any :'(

I'm actually not sure if line has been officially discontinued or if it's just in the process of dying, but I really liked the Project MC2 line of dolls, they had nice articulation, unique face sculpts, glass eyes, and actual lashes. Some of the dolls even had freckles, which I thought were really cute. The dolls were apparently based off of a Netflix series. They came with mini science experiments, and looking it up here it looks like they might still be using the Project MC2 name to put out science kits for girls, but it doesn't look like they're releasing new dolls anymore. They sort of went the way of Monster High and EAH towards the end where they came out with cheaper versions of the dolls. It looks like you can still get some of the older dolls online, but the prices are starting to skyrocket.

Omg you completely unlocked a memory for me with the Secret Central dolls!!! They could have a whole episode on their own!!! They had a pretty cool website that went with them. I don't remember it exactly (bout to look it up 🤣) but basically they all had a secret that came with them and you could unlock them to see like who liked each other and stuff?? Something like that!!! Me and a friend were obsessed with figuring out the whole thing!!! Would love if you did a video on them!!!

Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstones were sort of cool. I remember I had Saphire. I never thought they were a rip off, though. There was something unique about them. I suppose they do have that medieval, heavy-metal edge to them, but a lot of things did. They were pretty well made. They didn't feel cheap at all, and if I remember, they weren't that inexpensive to purchase. Trust me, though, I wouldn't have wanted one had it been a cheap toy. I've been reading comments on KZbin videos for these dolls, and a few people have said that they came before She-Ra. I think they did come before She-Ra, actually. People are also saying their legs broke off, but mine never did. LOL

I had the little miss dolls and yes the braid thing was right you could make it shorter by moving her arm up and down and grow it out by putting her arm straight up and you put warm or cold water on her cheek to make her heart appears on it I loved that fool line I had a bunch of them and they had alot of fashions for her too that. Brought back memories for me

I'm glad you included Action man even tough he was technically an Action figure he was an excellent substitute for Ken back when finding Ken dolls was difficult where I live; when I was very little I didn't have any Ken dolls and I used to use my brother's Action man and Max steel instead, honestly though I was genuinely jealous of the fact that the action figures, particularly the Max steel one, where so flexible and posable while the Barbies and other "girl" dolls were very scarcely articulated.

Oh my gosh I wish those Disney princess pop star dolls were still a thing!! What sucks about a lot of the discontinued doll lines is though (like these) was that they are from the 2000s, so I would have been either really little or not born at all (I'm almost 14). I WISH I COULD GO BACK IN TIME SO I COULD OWN ALL OF THEM THAT EVER EXISTED!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! The Heart Family were my absolute favorite dolls. They were my 1st "Barbies" I wasn't allowed to play with Barbie until I was 8 because they used to be for ages 8 & up. I had the AA set which came in red velvet with white lace outfits. And Shani I had her too!!! I'm very embarrassed to say I didn't appreciate them because she wasn't Barbie & I wanted Black Barbie & only Black Barbie at that age. She did come with the most awesome dress too. if I remember it correctly, it converted into a bag which she & her clothes fit in. I definitely want to buy her again.

I miss the Kenner Sea Wees dolls. They were these cute mermaid dolls that came with a sponge lily pad you could sit them in. And some of the mermaids had babies and pets. Super adorable dolls. You have to check them out. Another doll line I truly miss is the Lady Lovely Locks dolls. Super long haired with hair extension clip on pieces that were also their pets. My favorite one was the mermaid. She had a shimmery blue tail that turned into a dress. Super fabulous!❤

Although Hearts for Hearts isn't the best name, the dolls are really high quality and also teach children about the lives of the girls in each of their respective countries in the modern day. I think they're great both for their education and diversity elements. Also, they were actually brought back! They reappeared in the States in Targets about a year and a half ago.

I think you should check out Princess Wishing Star doll. One of my cousins got her for Christmas in 1995 at my grandparents' Christmas party. I played with the Princess for only ten minutes and never saw the beautiful princess again after that 😢.

Mystixx look like a mix of Mosnter High and Bratz (the 2D art). But they have their charm. They're not extremely goth but I still appreciate because goth dolls are gorgeous.
