Even More Things I Wish I Knew Before Playing MIR4

This is the 3rd video of 10 tips and tricks in Mir4 that will make you facepalm if you didn't already know about them. Many tips may seem like common sense or are explained in the game, but due to the depth of the game, absorbing it all can be a bit too much which makes room for many oversights.

Quick sneak tip from the next general tips video: If you are red or at war and you would like to safely grind without losing exp from PK, there is a Hidden Passage in the 2F of Bicheon and Snake Valley. One entrance is in the north eastern most corner of the map. Drops and copper suck here, but exp is good and there is no pk, so it is great to farm with your friends while you sleep without wasting time.

Best Mir4 content! Thank you any tips on where I can get crafting materials? is it a waste to craft rare materials with uncommon ones?

If that is all you have, then no, but it is expensive. I think the magic square and secret peak are the best sources of rare materials. You can do death gorge runs to get lots of plat and steel for daily missions. Join a friend or two if those areas are too hard. Crafting the extra resources (25 each) isn't so bad, but the steel and plat is what kills ya.

Great tips man! Let ask u something, what do you think is better to level up, only main quest until cant anymore, them back to all side quest u pass or do all side quests of that zone u are before go to another map/field?

Main quest all the way. It will open up new ways to expand your power, such as more inner force manuals, conquests, etc. It will also open up new areas for more quests. You will hit a block at one point where the MSQ is to reach level 60 and that is when most people backtrack all the quests they didn't need to level up conquest towers.

@@AllBlackz Sure, you can even wait until someone can help you with much of the story (except solo instances). It is good to set goals, such as raise one thing to a certain point or raise everything to the next level (piece of gear, constitution, inner force, conquest) so that you have a point to return. I found myself getting side tracked for days and not getting back to the MSQ when I should have. I also focused far too much on power score and not exp, so try not to fall behind in leveling.

Great question. Other than damage, some abilities will have a chance to debilitate or crowd control. Debilitations are just debuffs like Chill which increases damage taken, quell which decreases skill damage, etc. These can stack and also increase the chance of various CC such as knockdown, stun, or silence.

swipe or drag down on the skill in the lower right hand corner. when enabled to auto cast it will have a blue ring around it and when disabled, it will go dark.

These are mine. After playing maybe a month with Lancer 40k PS and Sorcerer 55k PS 1. The game is infested with bots and speed hackers. 2. You need to spent a lot of money beyond rare items. 3. PS is everything, you can't win on 1 vs 1 with skills. 4. Clan war is shit, you lose items and exp. 5. Endless grinding. I already quit after joining 2 clan wars. It is impossible to win against those players that uses speed hacks and spent a lot of money.

I am sorry that you didn't continue to enjoy the game. I would respond to each point with: 1) I have never had my gameplay negatively impacted by bots or hackers in over 1,000 hours. I did have someone using an exploit to reset bosses with warrior skill in the secret peak so I reported it. There are many tricks this game does to increase performance that occasionally look like hacking, but it is usually due to players with high ping dodging which takes too long to update on the server and moves them instantly instead of playing a smooth animation. I don't see what the problem with botting is as it is a built-in function of the game. 2) You don't have to spend any money to be relevant. 3) PS is very misleading. It favors raw stats instead of situational damage/defense. I could have a lower power score and demolish someone if I am geared for PvP and they are geared for pure stat boosts (inflating their PS). The ability combination, dodging, resource management, knowing your enemy's ability animations and effects, and build(gear enchantments, pets, treasures, magic stones) will play a large role in any fair fight. 4) If there were no cost to dying in clan war, then you risk nothing to gain the world. In the words of Rick Sanchez, "It's called a deterrent. How is being knocked out a deterrent? Everyone wants to be knocked out, nobody wants to be dead!" 5) I have played MUDs in the past that had progression so slow, it would take literally years to reach max level. Spending money is entirely optional in my experience as it only advances you in time faster than playing for free, but shaving a day or two off a year is not much advantage. Hope you read this and reconsider. Peace.

​@@DanielDroegeShow I really enjoy the game especially the raids, harassing people in MS, PS, and in 4F valleys but what I am looking for in a MMORPG games are the clan wars. If the clan wars sucks, what's the point of playing it and making your character stronger? If you are not going to participate in it, might as well play a solo mode games? I already gave it a chance by creating a sorcerer ( Because there are too many long range bots when I started the game with my lancer and It is hard to finish missions and request) and I regret that I wasted additional 2 weeks making that character stronger just to quit afterward. The clan that I'm in is a top 4 clan in our server with an alliance with top 5 and 6. Even with us 3 clans we are still no match to the heavy spender top 2 clan. You will realize it eventually in the future. Goodluck playing it my friend.

No you should be fine as long as your accounts are not sending gold or wemix to each other.

Yes, absolutely. You will probably have to mine some to do your upgrades, but this can be done more peacefully in the secret peak and magic square areas. Many people in my clan could care less about the crypto aspect of the game.

tips on getting rid of bots and cheaters

After valley war, all bots will have their mining reduced by 10%. It is possible to report bots (with similar names) for violating the operations policy under something the devs call "Workshopping". This will get IP and account banned, but with VPNs, it will only set them back. For cheaters, it is hard to get proof, but reporting the name might at least get the devs to look into them. Try to note the time, name, server, area, and channel it took place so they can find them easier.

MIR4OPEN0826 that is copied from the patch release. It might be case sensitive and need to be capitalized. 0826 is a date so make sure it is a number zero.
