If you want to connect Rabloo and a Lord of the Mountain pokemon together you could go the same route as Carbink and Diancie, Diancie is a legendary pokemon that is said to be a unique, one of a kind evolution that rarely happens within Carbink, so having a Satori inspired legendary that's said to come from a Rabloo once every 1000 years or something could definately work

I had multiple ideas when you talked about Pixi and if it evolves or not: -Evolving by catching a certain number of them like in majora's mask (this one could be an evolution for a stray fairy pokemon) -Evolving with a certain amount of money like in botw -Evolving by entering a specific fairy fountain like the fairy queen in wind waker Btw, I'm hyped to see if you'll make a "spirit of a sword" fakemon like Fi and Ghirahim, it could be super dope

For a Great Fairy evo, I would consider basing it off Wind Waker's version primarily, while pulling in elements of other interpretations. Or, perhaps basing it off Capcom's versions, as seen in Link's Awakening, the Oracle duo, or Minish Cap!

Rabloo is super cute. I love owls and owl Pokemon in general, so a blupee with the face of Rowlet is a guaranteed favorite. I also really like how the bird is clearly based on Revealing but incorporates new inspirations and powers as well.

Making a Lord of the Mountain feels like a Carbink-Diancie situation. Make them feel tangentially related, but far enough apart that yeah, Blupee won't evolve into "Lorpeelex" (Lord, Blupee, Apex of a mountain). Perhaps do the "skips an evolution" method? It's a concept where a Pokemon resembles another Pokemon but evolved once or twice. Like how Luvdisc would hypothetically evolve into _something_ that evolves into Alomomola.

Since fast land travel is already possibly covered by the Hyrulean Ponyta line, I believe there should also be Fakemon that allow for travel on water and in the air. I'm thinking the Fakemon for the former should be based on the King of Red Lions from Wind Waker, while the Fakemon for the latter should be based on a Loftwing from Skyward Sword, preferably the Crimson Loftwing that Link had in that game.

It sorta reminds of a system that was used in a game called Spectrobes: Origins where you would need to have a certain companion Spectrobe to solve certain puzzles, you would probably love spectrobes XD Pixi is Very Cool! So, about Rabloo and the possible Lord of the mountain pokemon mon, there's one fakemon game out there that uses a system which I think is perfect for the situation. Basically, there's a legendary bug type which you have to fight at some point. It is wild, but you can't capture it, instead it drops an item upon defeat that can be used on a common bug type fakemon to make it evolve into that legendary. I think this way is perfect for the Lord since it cannot be registered at a stable, so it would make sense if you can't capture it with a pokeball. Just an idea though, great vid as always! I especially loved Raival

An idea for your Pixi pokemon. To evolve it you must visit a Great Fairy Flower after it reaches a certain level, creating one of four variants based on the regions such flowers can be found.

You could do a convergent evolution Pokémon using the Seahats from Wind Waker. They can be water, sky types with two stages. The second stage can be what we see in Wind Waker, massive helicopter pufferfish, and the first stage can be a smaller, cuter version of it. Like what they did with Tentacool and Toadscool. Another one I thought of is a Pokémon basted on Ghini as a mono phantom type. It was the original ghost enemy from the original Legend of Zelda and is used in most of the top-down games instead of the Poes.

In regards to Pixi and the Revali inspired mons, I could definitely see there being a wide variety of color varients like with Basculin, Vivillon, the Flabebe line, Minior, or Squawkabilly. All the ones you've come up with so far are so cool.

I love all of your designs, but gosh Rabloo has got to be my favorite so far. Ever since botw came out, I've been obsessed with those little rabbit(owl/moth) spirits. There are a couple other blupee-inspired fakemon out there, but I feel like yours still keeps with their design the best. As for Lord of the Mountain, I think making them a legendary (doesn't have to be a big "box legendary", could be something akin to Cresselia, or Latios/Latias level) would be fitting! The two would still be connected through lore and looks too.

I think you got what pokemon games are always missing (and I fear will miss forever): the will of giving to each single pokemon a usefulness through the run, not just some collectable to achive a sense of completion. I love the idea to swap in and out different pokemon for different situations (climbing, collecting money, healing etc..) so damn cool!

3 questions : 1. I believe you said in your lore vid that some creatures turned into Pokémon. and there is Goron , Zora , and Reto, etc Pokémon. 1. Basically this version of Hyrule was a decently normal place with some magic, some creatures and human races. But when Ganondorf caused the Great Paradox, what we know as races like the Zora, Goron, etc. were actually brought into existence along with others. The only way to make the world have any sort of legitimacy is to make it a sort of multiverse 2. Yeah a lot of people are suggesting this which sounds like a really good idea! 3. Yeah that can always be a possibility!

I love Pixi! I feel like it could have more variations in color, similar to Vivillon for example, since there are a bunch of different colored fairies in the Zelda universe (and even just in the Ocarina of Time Kokiri Forest, for example. Every Kokiri has a fairy of a different color).

I feel like whatever you do with the lord of the mountain, it should be a unique Pokémon and the way to get it would have to be pretty special. I know in the lord of the mountain's lore it's the reincarnation of a sage, and the real life inspiration for it was Satori's death which the BoTW team wanted to memorialize, so death should probably be involved somehow, maybe it could even be half ghost type. If you want it to be an evolution of rabloo, then maybe you need some sort of unique item that contains the spirit of a sage or something and the spirit gets fused with Rabloo. Or maybe there's a specific spot that if you take Rabloo to at a specific time they evolve. Or maybe if you get a bunch of Rabloo together under certain circumstances one of them will evolve. You could probably do a combination of all three if you wanted. If you don't want to have rabloo literally evolve into the lord of the mountain, maybe rabloo could just summon/create the lord of the mountain somehow. Or maybe they could lead you to the lord of the mountain if you take them to a specific spot in the lost woods or something.

It's very cool that Raival are a Lucario-like pokemon you can find about. I'm very excited for your take on loftwings as less anthropomorphic birds, you can reference back to real shoebills. Maybe as a mythical pokemon considering they are extinct in current day Hyrule. Even if you say birds are hard to draw, Raival looks great.

It’s mostly hard to make birds beaks and feet not look ugly and wings can be hard bc they way they fold but the Loftwing has very distinct traits so it shouldn’t be too difficult!

@@bilsuart I get you man, I'm actually an amateur artist myself, I draw a lot of dragons so I HAD to get good at those bird of prey-like talons. I'll always say the best way to get better is to reference real animals. :3 Just keep at it, this series is great.

Raival's name should be changed to Raivel. It would be pronounced the same, but makes it an anagram of Revali.

I think it's cool how some of them like Pixi and Rabloo have special effects outside of battle that make them special, the Pokemon games haven't done that and if it were a game it would make it worth it to catch more Fakemon

I love the detail and potential of all the abilities you come up with. I'd try to keep at most 2 abilities per line for some pokemon though. That way they don't have abilities that keep ramping up. It would be similar to the pokemon that have 2 evolutions

It’s a concept that I could completely scrap for regular abilities but the idea is that Pokémon with more stages would have less impactful abilities since they can ramp up and single stage Pokémon would have really unique abilities that help them make up for lack of stats through evolution. It’s mostly just a concept thing since in Pokémon there’s no reason to even use certain Pokémon unless you just like the way they look!

Ironically, Florage's battle ability is basically the ability "Sharpness" from generation IX, but with an added Forest-Type auto-crit. Ironically, of the three moves from the series that this would apply the auto-crit to, two of them---Leaf Blade and Razor Leaf---already have a boosted critical-hit ratio, so the benefit is not as game-changing as it sounds. For reference, the third Forest-Type move is Solar Blade. Falcolt's feather scarf reminds me of the scarf worn by Phosphora from Kid Icarus: Uprising, who fittingly also uses electricity for flight (mostly by turning into a bolt of lightning itself); in fact, Falcolt's color palette matches Phosphora's as well, especially with the blonde/yellow "hairstyle" and the dark grey feet resembling wrappings or sandals...were the similarities intentional? Does Rabloo learn Pay Day? Finally, just as a warning, "Pixy" is the Japanese name of the pokémon known in English as "Clefable," and traditionally pokémon names that are different in each language try to avoid overlap when possible. I'm not saying Pixi cannot be your pokémon's name, of course. I just thought it worth mentioning in case it mattered to your preferences.
