@@별빛나그네-c3uthat’s true but in his case it might be because he can’t do the highly technical/high paying roof jobs that he would normally get in france such as the cathedral repair, because south Korea doesn’t have those kind of rooftops. Korea also has beautiful buildings and rooftops on old buildings like the Geumsansa temple, but it’s a different style to French architecture so he won’t be trained in it therefore he has to continue with working the lower paying jobs. He and his partner seem like lovely people and they are really enjoying their life in Korea ❤

It depends though, not all foreigners will be treated the same, a white guy will be treated very differently to a white girl, who will be treated very differently to a bIac girl. Even if all of them are from the same country.

@@Redlights111 As a guy who has loved Korean culture for years I honestly can't imagine myself living there in the future, there are pros and cons yes of course but what made me doubt living there would be the fact that it's very modernized I've seen rural Asian countries who are very traditional and appreciate their culture which makes the people there humble and polite, one of my parents is from a country like that and the simplicity in which they live their life and respect everybody in their community brings me so much happiness I imagine Korea can't give me that same feeling with it's modern environment, I'd personally a quiet and peaceful lifestyle in a welcoming community I'm not sure what kind of lifestyle you want but you should think about it deeply

The cynic in me says that while Lionel is to be admired, this is little more than propaganda for skilled foreigners to come to Korea and work underpaid and underappreciated jobs. Don't do it, I have and it isn't worth it. Lionel is one of thousands of foreigners living in Korea who are just as kind and talented. Ask yourself what the end game is here because as much as we foreigners love Korea, it doesn't reciprocate.

한국에서 3D 직업이 돈을 많이 못버는 이유는.. 일단 규모의 경제라고 보기도 어렵고 장비도 외국에 비하면 그리 크지도 않다보니까.. 대신 기술력 좀 쌓아서 반도체 공장이라던가 이런데 가면 돈 많이범 몸도 더 편하고..

상식적으로 생각해봐도 그냥 주택 건설하나 짓는데 단가 얼마 나오지도않음. 그러니 연봉을 많이 줄수도 없고. 근데 반도체 공장의 경우에는 쩐주부터가 돈이 많으니. 좀 더 여유있게 임금 줄 수 있는거고

@@khlee3238 It's not about rudeness. In any country with enforced road rules beeping is limited to alerting other drivers to danger. That's what it's designed for and you can get in trouble if you beep any other time.

Hello Lionel, i'm also French and living in Gunpo (Dangjeong-Dong) and i'm also 30 year old, we have 3 common point so we can meet :) Just simple trick since you leave in a 30m² appartment, you should move the bed to the tiny room just to sleep and have more space on main room.

The Korean diet is soup-based, so they get their daily water intake that way and usually do not have a beverage with their meal. That’s why the hosts were a bit surprised Lionel was having a glass of milk with his otherwise Korean breakfast.

Please, for Jesus, enough with all the food and more focus on rain-sun fruit and snow-greens juicing. Invest in plant-based calories. Limit meat consumption. Limit population. Limit medication. Increase hobby centers, health and tech. Korea must experiment with this before the rest of the world can take off.
