Because u need a bigger hydraulic tank for all the oil draining back from those pistons, and j need more than 1 hydraulic connections so he had to build that on

Just goes to show you dont need Big horse power to get the job done and that 135 is probably more reliable than any new tractor no control modules or sensors to go wrong. Just good old fashioned compression ignition diesel.

Yepp. Our neighbour also had one, we had Ford(son) - but the 135 was a good little tractor. My grandfather actually worked at the company that first imported Fordson to Germany up until Ford built up their own dealer-network.

The only old tractor my father ever sold....... as a kid I thought it was the best because it had a foot throttle!! He kept the Dexta, it's still his weedasiding tractor on the walnut farm, and there's aFordson Major on water cart duties 😊. A '35 International W4 for ploughing, and a Nuffield for fun 😂.

we used to cut silage with a single chop with a 35x ...........was a kidd single chop ..... 1 trailer , all would come into the pit with every load ...........long tipping pipe to tip up the trailer ...........things have come a long way in 55 years ...............!

@@philipoconnor2236 a international gdg a prerunner of a 414 ........about the same size as a 35x .........kverneland trip buckrake ..... good hardy man with a fork to spread the lumps .........3 acres a day was good going .........better than looking at hay going black on the ground in a wet summer .........topped off with a few loads of toppings .........thisels mostly ........rolled for a day or two after then covered with sheets of tin to keep the rain out ...........9 inches of waste on top in winter .......was thrown out to suckler cows to pick through ......rest was fed along with turnips and beet

@@georgedoorley5628 God l never thought about pre polythene! If the rest stayed good 9inches wasn't too bad!! Im 44 and remember pits of double chop being made in corner of the field. Cutting out benches with silage knife and barrowing into ring feeders. Come back next day and you were throwing out so much because it had heated. Cows up to their bellies in Muck. Twas hardship of the highest order!!
