Sadly it’s looking more and more like we will have to at some point 😔 I just wish they had a thing were if you max out all the bane mods of a type (melee, riffle and so on) you could them merge them into a bane All, that way you still have to put in the work of getting and ranking them up but you still have the QOL option of not needing to swap out a mod.

Agreed, the weapon needs something to make shooting it faster. As much space as it takes, and as much damage it reduces, I can't live without Prime Shred on the Evensong.

Simply do what I have, completely ignore any notion of Damage resistance or weakness and just stack and unhealthy amount of Radiation Damage on your Zaw and ball out with a Nuke Stick. lol

Still think the damage type changes are a net positive and it’s not close. Corrosive status is now more impactful and you’re not punished for fully stripping armor so it’s still worth it against corrupted imo. The orokin and corrupted thing will be made consistent I’m sure.

Can you add a comment regarding the new mod (Rifle Elementalist). Your initial build is Radiation, and you also mention Corrosive, I noticed the "ELEMENTALIST" set of mods don't affect anything that's NOT a DoT, so will it even work on those builds?

slash status indirectly nerfed with the armor changes. DE cap the armor to 90% max dmg reduction, but buff the hp.

If you need more status, you use the 60/60 mods, otherwise choose the 90% elements.

Status for automatic weapons (for example corrosive to strip armor) damage for slow firing weapons. But I personally use 60/60 mods for almost everything.

Since DE is trying to simplify stuff, why don’t they help simplify builds by getting rid of the bane mods and replacing them with a single faction mod so we don’t have to keep swapping them or having multiple builds and having to swap (though the new menu being able to hot swap while on the star chart is a nice QoL).

Because many people have +1000p worth of Bane mods in their inventories that wouldn't realistically be compensated. It's like deleting Arcane Energize, because you don't like grinding plat. The game doesn't cater to just you and if you hate switching them just make 5 dedicated weapons for each faction and switch those instead of the bane mods. With the new arsenal window in Navigation it's very convenient.

they should at the very least let us "combine" bane mods into one single bane mod. the grind to max out all bane mods will still be the same, and people who have already maxed them out won't lose anything, but you just don't have to swap them in between missions anymore. plus it's not like we have those for narmer or sentient enemies, against those it's basically an empty mod slot.

Sadly it doesnt reduce damage of enemies by 100%. It only redoces their WEAPON damage by 100%. The abilities of eximus, special abilties of infested and what not still do full damage to you

Playing around with it, I found that Synth Charge works on it: all of the returning blades count as the "last shot" and get their damage increased by 200%.

after extensive research I felt the bow have such low dmg, either its a bug or the 90% fall off the the suspect. trying slash on it is depressing, it deals no dmg. and the aoe part might as well not exist. but if ur gonna do solo target dmg then it still is weak, there is dread nataruk paris daikyuu cinta , hell even bramma is better at single target. and that fire rate is criminal when you see how low the base damage and crit chance is

@@icefyer2 split flights only requires you to hit an enemy, galvanized chamber requires kills. Split flights also decreased accuracy a lot so your bow spreads out big amounts of arrows, and with thunderbolt they have pretty good chance to explode

I love this. I just need to narrow down who to put it on. I would go Dante but I have a summoner build on him and that requires kitguns. I like the idea of Limbo, Revenant or Loki since they can effectively limit damage to themselves. Of course Jade is an option but I need to analyze her more. Than I see Wisp haste buff is crucial so she is an option. Perhaps with gloom for a Chrono Wizard style of play. Either way this should be fun.

"Best defence is the offence" - if u kill them they can't hurt you.. With changes to cold u can now freezze a lot of them. Even passively with for ex. Verglas on companion.. Do I really need a debuff while I still have to kill them on most missions? Eh.. If they really wanted a support weapon the debuff with +dmg from allies I think would be better. Like helping my team to kill faster.

viral+ slash would do fine only thing that it would kinda eh on is enemies that are resistant to the viral damage you're still going to do enough damage combining it with slash since slash procs still ignores armour if you're gonna do lvl cap you might as well go bane mods then go what faction you're fighting

to be fair they added the arsenal menu on the star chart map so its pretty easy to switch banes if u have 1 on each loadout making it less annoying than it used to be as u can switch straight away before joining the mission, i still dislike banes but it might be time to start using them
