HOW TO GET A FLYING CREATURE: Go to menu > Shop > All creatures > Gachas, then with arrows go to Sky gacha. Make sure to have enough mushrooms then roll one gacha to get a flying creature. Then go back to the main menu, new slot and pick the flying creature you just pulled and play However I think you have to wait for your creature to reach max age before you can fly

For the presents, it depends on the color but for example for the red presents you can only carry 2 because you can only turn two in at a time, i think it's 3 for green and 4-5 for white.

Get a flying animal that can make a den so you can teleport to the sleighs, and quickly fly away if attacked. I'd say it's pretty hard to die from players alone, it's more the food, water, and climate that gets you. I'll knock on wood as to not jinx myself.
