Tiho's right. The Event sounds much more natural, the Genos unfortunately cuts the midrange in the sound. Even though the Genos 2 already has a better - more defined midrange than the Genos 1, it still sounds "incomplete", albeit pleasing to the ear. But that's why the Genos can never make its way into a live band sound, it will simply never be heard well in the overall sound with an incomplete soundband unfortunately.

The Event obliterates the Genos 2! The "new" Yamaha and Korg's Pa5X both sound like generic romplers from early 2000s. I'm puzzled by the hype surrounding these seemingly cheap-sounding arrangers, it's as if people have forgotten how real instruments sound like lol If you genuinely value realistic sounds and performance, there's no doubt that the Event stands out as the sole and superior choice.
